“I was very impressed with the elegant dinner at Hart Kitchen in Downtown Clarksburg.I did not expect to find such a great restaurant walking distance to my apartment.We started out with some special French Onion Deviled Eggs.My partner ordered a delicious Prime Rib and I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger.As we were finishing our wine, I decided to order Mary's dessert special. It was brownie bites with chocolate syrup on top of ice cream.We were so well taken care of.One of the owners, Anne, checked up on us many times.Thank you so much. We will be back.“
“We had a great experience, it needed some black pepper but that was easily added at the table. We had great service by the workers and the price was good for how full we were when we left. I had the country fried steak with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The mac n cheese was fantastic! My husband had the super bird and likes it a lot. He was excited to see it on the menu.“

“We had a group reservation for 8am. They changed it to 8:30am. They then sat other tables after we had been seated, and began taking their orders before ours.Orders were slow coming out even after we had placed them. Food was overcooked.Then when it was time to oay, I requested my first responser/fire dept discount.Even though there were those who knew I was associated with the fire department, I was refused the discount as I had no ID.So sad, been receiving it forvas long as they have been giving it.Additionally, the don't not provide a senior or Veteran discount....“

“Cody's was recommended and had good reviews, so we decided to try it. The waitress was super nice and professional. The food was very good. The burger was super big and very good. The kale salad was also very good. The atmosphere was loud, so it was difficult to have a conversation with the people at my table. We will probably go back again. I do recommend it, especially if you want a good burger!“
“The restaurant was very clean & neat. I did carryout. (They also do free delivery with a $25 order) The woman that rung me and took my order was very sweet and kind. The chicken salad on a croissant was good. It needed some salt and pepper. It came with chips and I got a bottle of Pepsi also. The outside of the building is nicely painted. “The staff was friendly. We did have to notify the bar tender that we had arrived because it's seat yourself. The booths needed wiped down and she was happy to do it.The large salad was absolutely a large!! It was a simple salad with fresh crisp lettuce and red ripe tomato. The house dressing is fantastic! The ribeye sandwich with cheese on garlic bread was also extremely tasty! The meat was juicy and it had good flavor I think I would have enjoyed it even more with a slice of tomato on it!Overall, the meal was delicious. I will be back on our next visit to Clarksburg. “I moved to the area a few years ago, and had wanted to stop many times. I finally did, and loved the atmosphere so much, it has become my go to. Its basically an everyone knows everyone kind of place, friendly staff, good usuals, and the food is well above the normal for a bar and grille. We honestly have cravings for their steak sandwiches at least once a week and have to pop in. You won't regret stopping in for some food,a drink,and conversation. We've never had any sort of issue at Franklin's as we have at a few other places. Love love love it!“
“Hot dogs, hamburgers and hand cut fries! Our favorite is the burger bundle. Fresh hand pattied burgers with all the trim. They also have great hot dog bundle deals with decent chili(chili isn't my favorite). Milkshakes are really good, but the fries are my favorite.“
“This is better then any resturant in Bridgeport and definitely worth the drive!! We will definitely be back. He got the "Po Boy sandwich " and as you can see they don't skimp on anything. I've never seen shrimp that big ?!! Also my burger (With sautéed peppers onions and jalapeños) was so so good best burger ive had in a long long time. Fries were fresh cut and mashed potatoes were amazing as well. Oh and the sweet tea yep that's the southern sweet tea just like it should be? Everything was 5 star including our waitress today give her a raise!!! She definitely deserves it she was amazing ?“
