“My wife and I have eaten at the Dog Haus for years. The owner and employees treat us like family. The food, including desserts, is homemade and very delicious. Ribs are excellent. It’s your fault if you leave hungry, cause portions are generous. Overall a great place to have lunch or dinner.“

“I am not a typical bar person. I was looking for the best restaurants in Parkersburg and this place was towards the top of the list. I looked over the menu and was surprised at how many different options they had. I had the thick cut bologna sandwich. Wow, when they say thick cut, they mean thick cut. It was atleast a quarter of an inch thick. The downside was that it was just the sandwich. There were no sides. I this was a shame because the sandwich itself was over $7. But, I could not complain too much because it was very good. The sides are extra, but they come in huge portions to share with the whole table. I was in a group of 6 adults. The wedges were more than enough for everyone. Our waitress was great and was helpful with the menu. Some of the menu was a little hard to navigate, but she was great in explaining everything.“

“We asked our hotel front desk for a recommendation that had good cold beer and good food, she sent us here. It was a bit of a shock when we pulled up, but man it did not disappoint. The food and service (and beer) were all great, the best black and blue burger ever! Very reasonably priced as well. We will be back on our next trip through Parkersburg.“

She was very attentive to each customer and handled all the crowd and confusion very well. She is a plus to this establishment. She was focused and took care of each customer. “Service was slow waited at drive thru order screen for 10 minutes before someone said anything took the other lane 3 people before getting to me not rotating calls. Food was good parking lot and drive thru area I side and out was very clean and neat. Don't ever have issues here.“
