“We were here on a Thursday and it was easy to get served. Great location on historic Market St. and a comfortable, clean taproom. We enjoyed the brown ale and seltzer, and were treated to an informative tour of the facility by one of the owners! Definitely a wonderful addition to the community.“

“I am not a typical bar person. I was looking for the best restaurants in Parkersburg and this place was towards the top of the list. I looked over the menu and was surprised at how many different options they had. I had the thick cut bologna sandwich. Wow, when they say thick cut, they mean thick cut. It was atleast a quarter of an inch thick. The downside was that it was just the sandwich. There were no sides. I this was a shame because the sandwich itself was over $7. But, I could not complain too much because it was very good. The sides are extra, but they come in huge portions to share with the whole table. I was in a group of 6 adults. The wedges were more than enough for everyone. Our waitress was great and was helpful with the menu. Some of the menu was a little hard to navigate, but she was great in explaining everything.“

“The BEST Philly and Italian subs in town! Specials everyday, HUGE selection of alcohol, best Bartenders, they make you feel like your right at home! Prices are amazing & with 12 tvs and all of them can be running different games, you won't miss a thing! Plus they also gambling machines. The LR has been open 50 years, obviously they are doing something right! Check it out for sure!!“

“They didn't have vegan choices listed but some vegetarian options. When I said I'm vegan the guy at the counter immediately offered to make me a Mediterranean sandwich without cheese. All the staff was very caring and nice, the sandwich had lettuce, onion, hummus, tomatoes, pickles, cucumber and it was good. I could choose a side among an apple, a banana or some fries. Would go back if I'm around.“
