This isn’t my normal kind of post, but I’m reviewing along my 🏃‍♂️ running journey so that runners and explorers alike can discover the lesser-known, truly amazing places I find along the way 🌍✨ I stopped into Isabella’s on a whim and left absolutely blown away 💥 🔥 Pros: • 🙌 Awesome waitress, friendly, funny, and genuinely cared about making my visit great. • 😊 Staff was super welcoming and knew a ton about the local area 🗺️. • 🍄 Food was amazing! I ordered the Breaded Mushrooms ($9.95), a massive portion (20+ mushrooms) perfectly fried, crispy outside, tender inside, and served with ranch 😋. • 🍺 Great beer selection, small but solid list! I went with the Devils Backbone Vienna Lager (6.5%) from Virginia 🍂, smooth and similar to a Yuengling 🍻. 👉 The waitress even bought my first beer when I couldn’t decide, that kind of hospitality is rare these days ❤️. • 🖼️ Simple but awesome decor, miner photos, a vintage Coca-Cola clock 🕰️, quirky signs, and fun little gifts 🎁. From the outside, you’d never guess how cozy it is inside. • 🐕 Service animal friendly indoors and dog friendly outdoors. They even brought my pup 🐶 a bowl of water 💧 and a slice of bacon! 🥓 🚫 Cons: Honestly, none 👌 🌟 Final Thoughts: Isabella’s deserves 6 out of 5 stars! “Finally made it over to this very tasty place for a Sunday afternoon away from the farm to run some errands too. The amount of variety of food is wonderful. Salad, pasta, veggies like green beans and squash as well as the fresh pizza and the dessert apple pizza as well as pudding on the bar too. We enjoyed the fresh very tasty pizza. I loved the squash/zucchini mixture on the buffet it was a nice option in the middle of January. Definitely will be back! For $12.49 per person it was definitely worth the money. “I’ve been eating here since I was 16 years old over 40 years now and it is even more special to me now since this is the last place I had lunch with my son before he passed away. I live in Florida now for over 15 years but every time I come home to visit family. I always come here sit in the same booth that Jeff and I sat at for that last lunch over 4 years ago now.“
