“I can't say enough positive things about this place! Did a women's mt bike clinic and stayed at the Elk River Lodge. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and the food was fantastic! It surprised us because it's way out there in the forest and we didn't expect top chef! But we got it! I'd go back in a heartbeat :)”

“Hands down best pizza on the mountain! Fresh ingredients, wood-fired, and gluten free options. The prosciutto & arugula was our fav, with the wild shroom, and margherita pizza’s being a close second. Cannot go wrong with any of the options. We grabbed a seat at Tuque’s upstairs and ordered from there, but you can also grab takeout. Perfect ski-in ski-out spot off Powder Monkey lift. And definitely don’t skip on the gelato… sea salt caramel!”

“The western territory side of the bike trails has some interesting and technical features, as well as a fun jump line. Usually a shorter wait time versus the main ball hooter lift. But be warned that when it thunders, the lift will shut down and you must wait on a shuttle to bring you back to the village”

“Oh Lord have mercy we had a blast in this place🤣🤣🤩🤩🤩 I'm a grandmother but I felt like I was at an MTV spring break party it was so exciting it was so awesome the food was to die for the street tacos steak platters the seafood platter the sangria was authentic sangria😎 Don't forget to ask for the tequila tower and Michael will help you with that he's the best waiter we've ever had it's a blast in here I didn't wanna leave and check on the children🤣🤣🤣 We came back three times in one day it's so worth it I love it the crew is amazing they love their jobs and they love their customers Michael you are the best I will be looking for you everywhere I go🩷💋😎❤️ When I get a picture of my grandson I will post it on your Google site so watch for us please we love you guys we'll see you in 11 1/2 months🤣🤣😎🥳❤️💋🤩

“This slightly out of the way joint provided a hot meal for my family when we needed it. Other places we called would not do carryout, citing the number of customers they had. After a day skiing, my kids were hungry and not particularly picky. Yes, the options are limited, but I thought the double smash burger with tots was good and my wife enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich. The cobb salad was fine, but not large. The mango habanero wings were surprisingly good (I liked them better than the wings at Cheat Pizza for comparison), as were the tots. Importantly, the service provided by Sean was prompt and friendly - these are qualities sometimes in short supply in other parts of the resort area. He did well! All in all, Hoots came through in a pinch and we will return.”

“Awesome place to hangout when you’re fed up with being cold on the slopes all day. The wings are some of the best I’ve had and the bartender Delilah is an awesome bartender, her service is outstanding and her jokes are even better.”

“Considering that this is part of a ski resort, the food and service were both very good. My wife had a teriyaki glazed salmon with some of the best shiitake mushrooms, and I had a chicken pasta Alfredo. Both were quite delicious. I noticed that they had some problems during the previous ski season. Hopefully the problems are behind them now.”

“Absolutely love coming to Starbucks at Snowshoe, my daughter and I drive 30mins to come up here and enjoy the amazing drinks. The staff is always friendly and very polite, they are also very knowledgeable, they recommend the best drinks! Ask about the Chocolate Mousse Iced coffee, you won’t be disappointed! ❤️❤️”
