“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Elender's, a quaint eatery located in Thomas, WV. Numerous people recommended them. I have to say, I was blown away by their poke bowls and spring rolls! The poke bowls were fresh and flavorful. I opted for the tuna bowl, which was perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of heat. My wife ordered the shrimp bowl and it was equally delicious. The spring rolls were crispy and packed with flavor, with a perfectly balanced filling of shrimp, vegetables, and rice noodles. We really enjoyed the addition if the onion for a additional kick. The peanut dipping sauce was a standout as well, with a sweet and tangy flavor that perfectly complemented the rolls. The atmosphere at Elender's was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Overall, I highly recommend Elender's. It's the perfect spot for a quick lunch or a casual dinner, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. I've heard their burgers are the best in the valley.“

“We were heading back home to Huntington today, and I thought it would be nice to grab a biscuit at Breakfast Nook for the ride home. I went in to place a to go order at the counter. The young man that took my order was very kind and took my order. I sat for a while and waited for my biscuits there at the counter. When my biscuits were laid on the counter, there were 2 and not 3. I simply said that I ordered 3 biscuits. I noticed how a man, who I assume was the owner, and a woman that clearly worked there, approached me very abruptly. They were asking what did you order and clearly in defensive mode. I just simply said that one biscuit was for my dog and it was no big deal. The woman that worked there said How sweet, in a sarcastic way. So I just got up and left with the 2 biscuits. I was very upset and it really bothered me. I then started reading about the Breakfast Nook’s story. WOW! Amazing!!! I now get it! They were protecting this sweet young man and it wasn’t about me or the biscuit. I had no idea of their story. I am so impressed at how they jumped into action to protect him. So sorry for the misunderstanding. Your business is amazing!“
