Great tacos! I am a diehard fan of Mexican food and Picnic in Thomas knows what they are doing. On a nice day, you can have a picnic outside on one of their many picnic tables or if it's raining they have a small indoor space as well.
Great and inviting casual place for tacos or a rice bowl. Service is quick and helpful. We tried: - the carnitas rice bowl which comes with bright purple cabbage, black beans, rice, and the pulled pork which is quite tender and flavorful. - the taco platter with ground beef for one taco and another carnitas, both of which were packed with flavor and balanced with the hit of lime and hot sauce of our choosing. Very impressed. Really enjoyed my chicken taco platter as did my daughter in law. That’s saying something because she lived most of her life in Arizona, where they have some fantastic tacos! I loved the caramelization on the plantains.
