The pu7blic rooms were filled with memorabilia of Bonnie"s life with family, plus historic furniture and accessories. The room we stayed in, called "Tom's" room was roomy, ultra clean and delightful. But the breakfast was the topper ! Deliciously prepared omelets and fruit plates were artfully presented and memorable. Bonnie made it all herself, and personally supervised everything. What a gal !My wife and I loved the entire experience, the fascinating player piano of 1910 vintage. This wonderful spot is worth going out of your way6 to experience.“
“Must go. Just trust me on this one. Was recommended to come here by a friend of mine while my car was getting worked on. He told me to get a burger because they make them mean. Holy cow do they!! First of all was fretted and called by my first name the entire time I was there. I got the mushroom Swiss burger that was absolutely excellent. Got the works with it and hand cut potatoes. Brought out by the cook himself. Spoke to the owner for some time and she was great and hospitable. I live an hour away, but I'll drive that hour to come back here for the food and the people. Felt like family here and you will to. 10 stars.“
