“Manger is amazing! She’s top notch at her job she actually cares about her employees. She goes above and beyond and she is always calling her customers sweetheart. She’s really good at what she does. Their food is good and it’s very tasty and she makes some of the best subs I’ve have ever seen. The store is always very clean and it’s very intact.“

“Grilled Italian always slaps but for some reason this store does not cut their subs so its just a bit messier and harder to eat. I ordered a sweet tea and after filling uo my tea halfway and alerting the cashier that it was out by the time I finished my food and went to see if it had been replinshed 15-20 minutes late it was still empty even thought it was relatively slow with alot of workers. I will return but dont order tea lol.“

“Store was super clean and every time I come in, it is the same employee, but he does a great job! Managers need to hire more employees because this guy deserves a day off.
As for the food, it was good but I am a little dissapointed about the poor quality of the vegetables. They were wilted, and some had brown edges. If I am paying 14+ for just a sandwich and a drink the veggies should be edible.“

“The 2 workers at 8pm a dark hair younger male and a dark hair lady were absolutely 💯 👌 excellent 👏. They gave beyond great services to us. The food was wonderful. Our bread was so soft. The facility and the Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Hell yeah to this Subway. Thank you all 😊“

“Can't beat it for the money,been going here since I was little with my Dad and now I take my kids...It's been here for years for a reason, it's a known and loved landmark in Parkersburg...Simple sells, and it's cheap! Many years ago it hosted plate dinners for workers in the area but now it's just your basic hamburger and hotdog shop. Edit: it’s been 10 yrs since my last review. The prices have gone up dramatically, they take debit now, which is sad. Always appreciated the cash only. I don’t mind a little updating but I was there the day they took out the juke box, sad, now they continue redo the inside and clearly trying to add new stuff. They should’ve left it the way it was. I rarely ever go now because of their prices and the changes have taken some of the nostalgia away. Sad to say, but if the prices don’t go back to what they were pre C19, then I give this place 2 maybe 3 years to survive with these higher prices. It’s not worth it at those prices, and the nostalgia is rapidly disappearing. I’m not here to argue about it. It’s just my opinion. This place was a staple for me and my kids… so it’s sad for me to anticipate its demise. Even their service hours are jacked up now. And they’re serving nacho cheese….. if I say I want cheese on my hotdog, I want it the way it’s been made for my 42 yrs on this earth, with sliced cheese. Do I make it that way at home, no. But that’s ALWAYS how it was at Slop Shop. I don’t want asked if I want nacho cheese. Why do you all feel the need to have nacho cheese??? STOP changing things. Stop trying to “update” or whatever you think you’re doing. You are ruining it. And it makes so many of us terribly sad and disappointed.“

“Normally I avoid subways because usually they take way too long to prepare the food and get it to me. But not at the subway they're respectful kind courteous and they prepare your food quickly no waiting here. And the ladies that I met working in there and the conversations I've held are very kind inviting.“

​I recently had a fantastic experience at this Subway location thanks to both the quality of the sandwich and the excellent service.
​The Subway sandwich itself was truly outstanding. I ordered a sandwich that was loaded with toppings, and the freshness and texture really stood out. Specifically, the toppings—from the shredded lettuce to the sliced onions and jalapeños—were pointy and pleasant, meaning they were crisp, fresh, and added a wonderful bite to the meal. Every ingredient was arranged perfectly, making it a very appealing and satisfying sandwich.
​Adding to the great food was the stellar service. The young woman who made my sandwich yesterday was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive, skilled, and took genuine care in preparing my order exactly how I wanted it. Her excellent service truly enhanced the whole experience.
​On top of the great food and service, I also noticed how clean the restaurant was—a huge plus that always makes a dining experience more enjoyable.
​While I had a great experience, I want to be honest and say that this is based on the interaction I had with that particular young person. You may not get the same level of service every time you go to this location unless you happen to be lucky enough to have her make your sandwich! For the time being, though, I highly recommend stopping by.“

“The best subway I’ve ever been too. It almost didn’t even feel real. I had 50 little gymnasts that all needed different subs before their competition and Judy ROCKED IT. It felt like I was watching a two-woman galley feeding a ship of sailors. Very impressed by the staff at this location. If you know of a catering company that needs help, tell them to recruit from this subway!!!!“

“Ordered 70 6" subs for teachers and Mike and Patience did an amazing job. Had it all ready early and made the whole thing effortless. They were really professional, friendly, and helpful. I recommend this subway in particular for large party orders as they've always come through. Well done guys!“
