“I took my family of four there after a friend recommended. Usually, when we go out to dinner at least one meal isn’t that good. I was amazed that everything was absolutely amazing. The steakhouse burger I ordered was hands down the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The poutine was great, the pretzel sticks with beer cheese was sublime. My wife and 17 year old daughter ordered chicken sandwiches and they raised the bar on chicken sandwiches. The salad was great. My younger daughter (picky eater) ordered a pizza from The 304 Wood Fired Pizza, it was the best pizza I’ve had in the Ohio Valley. In conclusion, this place is one of the best restaurants, if not the best restaurant in Wheeling. Definitely going to be a regular there. I’d have to give it a 15 out of 10 rating.“

I spilled my mixed drink and she didn't even get upset (I was so embarrassed and felt bad). Michelle, was her name. Excellent gal, a hard worker who knows how to do her job and does it with a smile! “First time I went to pickles, I went specifically to get their fried pickles. This was about a year and a half ago and the coating was very thick and I was highly disappointed. I thought how can you have a bar with that name and not have outstanding pickles??? My girlfriend talked me into going again the other day and I thought okay. I'll give them another chance. Oh my gosh! Whoever made them did a perfect job. The coatiing was thin. The pickles were large Spears. It was awesome! Awesome! awesome! Did I mention it was awesome? Lol Can't wait to go back!“

“Hole in the wall joint off the main stretch. Bar tender was super friendly and drinks were really cheap! They do have to "buzz" you in which is odd and there were only a few regulars there on a staurday night... but overall if we'd be in Wheeling again we'd stop back“

“We came into Wheeling for the Symphony and this place was in 5 minutes walking distance, and I’m so glad we came! The service was great, and we loved the meatloaf platter- the bacon gravy was to die for! Also get the apple crumble for dessert- so good! Great Appalachian comfort food, and the waitresses were so kind. Will be back!“
