Took a chance and stopped in for breakfast around 9:45 on a Saturday; no wait. I always rate a restaurant by ordering biscuits and gravy; it's just what I do~ Colter's Lodge is only the second place in the US that I will admit has made them better than I do at home! Hashbrowns were also notable; seasoned and cooked perfectly; a welcome change to the typical/bland oil and potatoes flavor. The food was great once it finally came out, but holy crap was the service on the Cafe side bad. Trying to order anything from the lady in the Cafe was just awkward and unprofessional. She seemed very unaware of everything, lost and confused and it seemed like a food order was going to go nowhere.
The bar side had it together much better and was able to sell food and beer quickly. They did however try to charge me twice for my food, so watch the bill they give...

I want to say George went wayyyy out of his way to insure that I was taken care of after another Inn/hotel had messed up a reservation and decided to take it upon himself to show me how well their hospitality would go. The atmosphere and overall feeling of this bar and hotel are amazing. It was clean and well taken care of. If you need service with a smile and courtesy, come say hi to these guys. George is amazing and outstanding and deserves the fattest raise. Thank you sir.
