“Stopped in on a Thursday night after dinner from the Rail Yard. Slow night while I was there. Cool little bar, staff was nice, beer was inexpensive. As more people came in things got more lively, just too much cigarette smoke for me. If you don’t mind the smoke I imagine this is a fun place.”

Gillette was my home for a lot of years and the monkey was a great place to play cards on the weekend. Got to know alot of you folks.
Everyone called me Sarge due to my service in the Corps as a Sargeant... lot of Army guys had to F with me so Sarge stuck.
Thank you all for the picture updates it's awesome to see you all are still in buisness.

“Tonight we went out for a date and from start to finish the whole evening was amazing! Our server recommended the specials and I am glad we chose them! The food was hot and fresh and came out very quickly. The only thing that I’m upset about is that I should have ordered a bowl of the lobster bisque instead of the cup! “Driving through Wyoming to head to a funeral, we did a google search for gluten free restaurants. Not only did this place have gluten free buns, but the cashier knew that the oil the excellent waffle fries were cooked in also were where the cheese curds were fried. Both food and service were surprisingly good”

“I've tried 4 or 5 drinks and they've all been excellent, BUT the smoothie bowls. Oh my word!! They're amazing! The fruit is incredibly fresh, the ingredients are healthy AND yummy, the serving size is generous. I can't say enough about how good these are! Try them with peanut butter for extra protein and add a hibiscus-guava refresher with popping pearls for a drink. 🥰 The service is always top notch as well!”

“One of the best iced caramel macchiatos in town! I’ve ordered it multiple times and it’s consistently delicious. The milk and coffee are balanced, they use caramel sauce that’s rich but not too sweet and packs more flavor than just syrup flavoring. It looks almost too pretty to drink the way it swirls in the cup. The staff has always been kind and friendly, even on a busy day and make sure if you have a punch card that you get credit for visiting. The other lattes I’ve had also are solid and a great treat. Highly recommended!”

“got verbally assaulted earlier for being transgendered by some older regulars at the bar one of whom was Dale. A man I've never seen before jumped out of his chair and got in my face all because I'm minding my business playing pool and darts. When these older people proceed to complain about my music I payed for and played, so I watched one of the bartenders bring the remote to the back area and turn down my music while smiling at me rudely. The older 2 men and 1 older woman proceeded to practically yell that " You will know what it is by looking between it's legs" supposedly talking about cows but when the bartender told me to "Stop" and then Kaylee Rae bum rushed me and got in my face then told me to pay my tab or she's calling the cops. I remained respectful payed my tab and left. Mind you this should all be on camera unless it suddenly goes missing. I got 86'd from eastside liquor for defending myself. I stayed respectful as that is how I was taught to be. I would not recommend going to this establishment unless you feel like getting discriminated against or kicked out for defending yourself.”

“As tourists driving through WY, we had had 3 consecutive meals in another town that were all 1 ratings. We decided to be safe and try a reasonable meal at Perkins. The service was superb! The server was friendly, resppnsive and very knowledgeable about the menu. My meatloaf and pie were far above my expectation. Serving sizes were reasonable. This Perkins far, far exceeded my expectations. I wish all Perkins were like this one. Thank you!”

The owners are really good people. We frequent the place usually every week or 2. I would highly recommend this for a good Mexican dinner.”

“New Years' Eve 2025/26, Uber was happy to get me TO the bar around 8pm and the driver was nice, and she promised me she personally was running all night, but at 2am there was NOBODY available on Uber.

I had a great night. I hope I didn't get obnoxiously drunk in the bar, but I sure sent some nasty text messages to my mom and girlfriend when I got home.

How did I get home? I explained the Uber problem to a barmaid named Josie and she arranged a ride for me. No clue who the guy was. Hope I didn't say anything rude to him. He wasn't somebody who'd been in the bar all night, he was just somebody the barmaid called to get me a ride home when I was totally wrecked at the end of the night.

The store itself was clean, well-organized, and had a nice, relaxed atmosphere—perfect for sitting down with a coffee or getting a little work done. Even during a busy time, the line moved quickly and everything felt efficient.

Overall, it’s a reliable spot for great coffee and a positive vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area.”

“Clean building, excellent food, and the combo of the Good Times menu allowed mom and dad to satisfy their burrito cravings and the kids to enjoy a corn dog. We were just passing through, but this would be in the regular rotation if we were local.

“Wonderful atmosphere, our waiter Em was so sweet. From out of town but I grew up here and I remember eating here when I was younger, very good vibe. The only thing id say is the food is a bit underwhelming. I got a chicken bacon ranch pizza and I did worry it may have been slightly under done but I ate 2 slices so wasnt that bad. The friend pickles were good and the apple dessert was so good. Chocolate cake was pretty good. The Mac and cheese bites came out cold so I wasnt overly impressed but again still ate them so couldn't have been that bad. Overall great service and great family place. Food is pretty average but not bad. Also they were out of like every drink our friend asked for. Got denied 3 times before we got something.”
