We've passed through Mammoth before on our way to Yellowstone, but this was our first time staying here. We stayed in one of the hot tub cabins, and it was really charming. It was nice to sit in the colorful lights of the hot tub at night with snow lightly falling. The room had amenities like robes, and even had traditional keys, which is so rare for American hotels these days.

Came end of season.. for 2 nights 600+, but split up between friends. Even though room had no TV, they do have WiFi so I just used my streaming apps on my tablet. Really doesn't matter, after being in Yellowstone all day, I only was able to watch one show ?... I give 4 not 5, because there was a wedding there, was not able to benefit from the bar onsite. Also I am not sure if the hotel provides meals because of the wedding, so we ended up going to a Grill next door to the hotel...read full review

We had a good experience here. By North entrance of Yellowstone, located walking distance from Mammoth Hit Springs.The associated restaurant is limited during the off-season and gets booked up, long wait...but nice staff.Beautiful post office nearby, a few places to grab breakfast on the go, gas up - and visitor center across the street.'Cabins' are nice, shower and warm beds go a long way after hiking all day!One of the best parts of staying here: hearing and seeing the local...read full review
