From the decor on the outside to the comfortable booths , the great food, and the outstanding service, we had a great experience all the way around. We liked it so much that we agreed to take another trip out to Newcastle just to enjoy the food all over again. Keep in mind that we live almost 3 hours away”

“For a small town, Newcastle does not have a great deal of eating places other than fast food. However, Isabella's is a jewel and would be worth driving out of the way to visit or stopping in Newcastle long enough to try this place. Predominantly, they seem to be a pizza restaurant, but with all of the options on their menu, they are far more diverse than I thought they would be.

The steak egg roll appetizer (pictured) comes three to a plate and they are worth every bite. It is filled with meat, peppers, onions, and served with a Thai sauce. On a scale of 1-10, these were easily a 10. The best we have ever had.

The spinach artichoke dip (pictured) was also a 10 out of 10 and comes with little pieces of like Texas toast cut up into smaller bite-size squares. They were toasted just right so they were not overly crunchy, but also did not immediately go soggy when covered in the artichoke dip.

I did the fish and chips (pictured) and while the fries seem to be overly done, they were actually the right consistency. Outside was a little crisper, but soft and hot on the inside. The fish though was a tad on the bland side compared to the other dishes we got, but would definitely get it again.

Wife got the cranberry and blue cheese salad as a main dish (pictured) and she said it was one of the best she has ever eaten and rated it 8-9 out of 10.

The day we were there, it was a little warmer, but there was outside seating available. In some ways, I wish we would have sat outside, but the flies that day were bad and there were quite a few in the restaurant as well.

While they have a couple of desserts on the menu, we did not try them.

The service was good and our waitress was friendly enough to engage in some small talk even when the restaurant started to fill up.

We would DEFINITELY go here again on our next visit, and probably on multiple days.”

“I work here I love the service when I am off work. My family and I eat here once a week. I recommend the street tacos chicken, the potato Ole's, Mexican donut bites and fried chicken tenders.

Vegetarian options: You can substitute refried beans for the meat and there are vegetables lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, pico de Gallo, and diced onions to add to your liking.

Kid-friendliness: There is a small kids area where children can color read about tacos and play with magnets and toys.”

“We were in Newcastle for a couple soccer games and decided to get the kids lunch at Subway. We walked in and had to wait for a decent length of time before we could even order our sandwiches (around 45 minutes total). Apparently the other person who was supposed to be working was a no call no show so it was ONE person working. Poor girl had been going non stop, no bathroom breaks, lunch break or even a chance to quench her thirst. She was friendly, but visibly exhausted. Kudos to her for working through her shift with zero help. Location was clean and food was fresh.”
