Dave's Last Stand is a dog-friendly walk-up restaurant known for its quick service and delicious BBQ burgers, including the popular BCB burger and Cajun burger, along with large fries that are often too much for one person to finish. The staff is friendly, and while the outdoor seating area features clean, covered picnic tables, it also offers enough shade for those hot days. The made-to-order food comes out piping hot, so it is wise to let it cool off before digging in. This spot is a great stop for anyone nearby or driving through, especially after spending time in the backcountry. Though the ice cream may take a bit longer, it is well worth the wait.
