Came to see Reckless Rooster play, fell in love with the western wellington. The mushrooms are to die for but don't fill up on those. The western wellington, a Mallard's original, is beyond delicious. Get the brussel sprouts as a side. ?
Pinedale doesn't have a whole lot of decent food options when you're dying to get out, but Mallards was a great find! The staff is friendly and the owners are extremely kind and personable. The menu is limited, but so far, everything I've tried has been delicious. My favorite appetizers are either the mushrooms that come out in a sizzling cast iron skillet with fresh garlic and butter, or the Brussels Sprouts with bacon and a balsamic glaze. Bonus points for the moose on the golf course behind me while we were eating and enjoying the music.The food was excellent.
