Food was good and you're having a meal right on the lake. That's hard to beat. I had a birria bowl which had good flavor except the rice. It was bland. Something was missing, at that point white rice would have been better. Highly recommend if you're staying near by.

The Grant Village Lake House Restaurant offers a casual dining experience with a focus on tacos and desserts. The hard-working staff manage high volumes, including walk-ins and bus tours, despite staffing shortages. The menu is very limited, but the delicious tacos, including the shrimp tacos, are a highlight and are considered the best food at Yellowstone by many. Guests can enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Yellowstone, a very chill atmosphere, and quick service. However, visitors should be prepared for a wait, very limited space in the dining area, and limited parking options. The restaurant provides quick service and does not take reservations. While the food may not be gourmet, the Grant Village Lake House Restaurant is a convenient and popular option for a casual dinner in the national park.
