“This establishment is a delightful location for a midday meal. My acquaintances suggested this establishment as it is a chain from Australia, and it certainly met my expectations. We were presented with a selection of pies, and we chose the fully loaded pie with mushy peas and mash, topped with gravy. It was absolutely delicious. There are not many tables with chairs, but takeaway is available.“

“I found this bakery on Instagram when they started their business in a shared kitchen. I remember I ordered several croissants, and they were impressive. Later, I encountered this bakery again at the farmer's market. It was easier to get their baked goods at the market, so I frequently visited their vendor. Now, they've opened their storefront, and I visited it for the first time. I grabbed a roule cannelle and a roule oignon fromage. Roule Oignon Frpmage -Buttery croissant, Swiss Gruyere and Emmental cheese, béchamel and sweet caramelized onions. Finished with Herb de Provence infused olive oil. So buttery flaky, and crispy, and I loved the caramelized onion and cheese in it. So delicious! Highly recommended. Roule Cannelle -A French style Kardemummabullar. A brioche dough with a spiced cinnamon spread. subtle hints of cardamom, pepper, spice and sweetness. I really like cinnamon and cardamom spice with this sweet brioche soft dough. This one is also very delicious. I always love this bakery. I couldn't get the Cookie croissant, which is only made on Sundays, so I'll save it for my next visit.“

They use a nice grade of matcha, prepare the matcha base properly with a matcha whisk, and the matcha to other ingredient ratio has been consistently good!Their hojicha latte and coffee drinks are also very good! LOVE the baked goods here. The staff are also wonderful!It’s located at E Hastings and Garden Dr along the main road (accessible by the R5 bus or 7 Nanaimo). Seating is limited, but the ambience is so cozy.“

“Came here in the morning, and parking is easy to get as they have a lot infront of the store. The smell of fresh pastries are always something I love. Just as the smell, the Croissant was so chewy and soft! Loved it especially the Pistachio was my favorite the Earl Grey and other fillings were tasteful and sweet. Definitely a must go place when in Vancouver! The service was efficient with the amount of workers they have and you could see them constantly bringing out the new croissants and see how they make it on the side window as well!“
