“I have been many Vietnamese restaurants in my life. some are in Toronto, some in Ottawa, some in Sudbury, some in Chengdu, some in Vancouver. most of the place were good in terms of the flavour. but one thing I have been craving for is the dinning experience. good chef is not rare in the world, but a qualified manager is really rare, it is like the intangible human resources in a company. I really enjoyed my short stay at Tre Viet. it was très bien. and I even liked the way the owner deliver its foreign culture to the locals, we are all immigrants, and that's the most beautiful part of this land, we might be different, but one thing is the same, that is the good food and good manners.“

“We didn't have much room for anything else and GOSH, I wish we haven't eaten yet! This was yummy so I'm confident that the other stuff in the menu is good as well. We got these mini pillow cakes to go but ended up eating them outside since they smelled amazing. They got some colorful benches outside and the service for ordering to-go was quick! When we went in, the place looked bright and clean with ample amount of seating. Vancouver parking seems to be similar everywhere else but I'd say they got more spots here than in downtown. It's cheaper too! I'm just visiting but I'd recommend it for anyone local and in the area!“

“Amazing place for pho. The broth is so rich and clear and the veggies are fresh and high quality. 10/10 meal and all at great prices. The veggie option is also nice because of the huge tofu pieces you get that have been fried and soak up all the broth flavour.Staff are also very kind and friendly :)My favourite is the veggie pho (#15) with chicken broth.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options for pho and rice dishes. the tofu they give you in place of meat is huge and has a nice deep fried exterior.“

“I recently tried the Chick'n Banh Mi from Khoe and it was really good! The bread was super soft, just like other Banh Mi sandwiches I've had before. It was a bit spicy, around a 4 out of 10, which was perfect for me.It's great that it's a vegan-friendly sandwich and the portion size was just right for lunch. Overall, it was tasty and delicious. “Have come here a few times and each time was good service, quality food with decent portions. We both accidentally ordered the wrong bowl of pho but we were happy with trying something different since it didn’t skimp out on the beef portions we originally wanted. Normally not a fan of beef balls but this was actually quite tasty. The young server has been there a while and is always greeting with a smile and bantering with customers. “There are many Vietnamese restaurants and cafés along Victoria Drive; however, Bun Cha Ca is definitely one of the better options. The customer service there was friendly and super nice, to the point of making (very good) suggestions with regards to the menu. Of course, the star here is the food. The Fish Cakes have been reviewed very favourably, and this dish is definitely a must. Juicy and bursting with flavours, served with salad and the vinegary sauce that complements Vietnamese dishes. Salad rolls are another specialty, very fresh. Dip into their crunchy peanut sauce, and enjoy... And then the phó! Ordered the Hot and Sour Seafood Noodles, so good! Squid, fish, fish cake, shrimp in a broth that is perfect. The portions are generous, and the prices very fair. If you are in the neighborhood, you have to do yourself a favour and visit this establishment.“

“Do yourself a favour and just order the deep fried chicken leg with a bowl of noodle soup. The broth is clear and tasty. The noodles have a good texture and picks up the flavour of the soup. The chicken is cooked perfectly with tender juicy meat with crispy skin where the flavour is pumped up with the side of chilli fish sauce for dipping. Good sized portion too!“

“More like a 4.5 rating. Randomly discovered this place through social media. It operates in coho commissary kitchen so it is takeout and delivery only. I ordered through delivery app and was able to pick up my order at a reasonable time. Got the Deluxe Bowl with grilled prawns and striploin steak, Chicken Banh Mi and Spring Rolls. The bowl and banh mi were delicious with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. 1/2 star deducted because of the spring rolls. They were a bit too salty to be eaten on its own. Taste better with the vermicelli. Portion size was ample and I got a good deal from Uber Eats. I would definitely go back especially for the banh mi!“

Where Khoe offers up amazing vegan Vietnamese rice noodle bowls, Doi has a variety of banh mis and baos - all vegan too of course.I ordered a sampling of banh mis and baos for me and my partner to enjoy: chick’n banh mi and bao, tofu banh mi, and shroom bao.Everything was fresh and tasty, and of the same great portions and quality I’ve come to expect from Khoe.I highly recommend everyone orders regularly from here, even your omni friends will enjoy it!My only “complaint”? “Their fried chicken wings are what brought me here. Dined out here for the first time with a friend on a quiet weekday evening. They have some unique home flavours which are different from the pho places I've been. - Fried chicken wings (10 pieces) - Special pho noodle soup - Beef stew with rice noodle soup The fried chicken wings are surprisingly juicy inside while crispy on the outside. The batter holds well on each wing. They provided the peppery salt and lime on the side. I would strongly recommend to use them either separately or together. That will elevate the already delicious wings. The pho was tasty. Special pho has everything: cooked and rare beef, beef ball, tendon, and tripes, etc. The texture of the noodle wasn't too soggy. The soup was somehow on the sweeter side compared with the pho I had elsewhere. The good news is that it doesn't make me thirsty afterwards. The regular size pho was the smallest size of their 3 options. It's considered very generous for its price. The only critique I have is that the soup was not very hot when it was serve. The noodle turned cold faster than usual. The beef stew one had a lot of beef. My friend couldn't finish it. The noodle in this one was wider than the regular pho. It's a family business which has been around for almost 3 years. We were served by a young teenage girl. She's efficient on her own for taking care of a few tables plus some takeout pickups. They accept cash, debit and credit. There are parking spaces up front in this small strip mall.“
