“This is one of situations where I "found" this place again after many years. Used to come her back in the 80s when I worked in this area. Almost weekly. Great big menu, lots of great sandwiches, soup, chili and even dessert. Meatless sandwich options too. Ordered the Tomato Bisque Soup, an amazing Turkey Avocado on focaccia and a Pastrami Sandwich, on rye made the traditional way. No pickles. Great little shop, family owned. When he described his father I knew that was the man I used to order from back in the day. Walls show plaques and pictures showing their contributions to the community such as sponsoring many baseball teams and a proud sponsor of dozens of Rose Bowl Parade floats. A grade, clean, plenty of seating but for the most part I think people get it to go. Still can't believe it's been here for this long and I was here 40 yrs ago. . Yelp hours are incorrect, better call and see. Also closed Sunday and Monday now. Prices were very cheap, however the owner stated the menu is changing soon. Seems like this is the last place to raise their prices like everyone else's. Def worth a visit. When back the next day and got a Tuna Melt which was also good. Best around. Nostalgia helps”

“Fantastic service. The specialties and house signature food and drink are fabulous. I had the braised short rib and the house dirty martini. Delicious. Also please try the truffle deviled eggs, Brussels sprouts and truffle fries. Love this place.”

“I like the food here, but the attitude of the main guy behind the counter? I don’t understand- Bruh…you are running a restaurant, and while food is important there is a reason why every food review platform in the universe has a rating category entitled service. If you can’t be the least bit courteous than take park your grumpy self in the back where customers don’t have to worry about offending you by placing an order and providing you with their credit card.”

“A treasure. The noodles here, so soft, velvety, luxurious and delicious, are impeccable. Everything cooked to order. Soups so warm and soothing. I need to try the seafood, but judging by everything ive had here, should be outstanding.”

“Food is always good here. Service is hit or miss, we got napkins but no silverware. Had to ask twice. Still just got forks and knives, so had to use the fork's handle to stir the cream and sugar into my coffee!. Atmosphere is nice. There's seating both outdoors and indoors.”

“Disclaimer, this review is only for pizza. The works pizza is a great combination pizza with a fresh crust and generous, fresh toppings. The Sicilian is another of our favorites. I have to go back to try some other items like the chicken parm plate, but if the pizza is a sign of the food quality and taste, then I'm looking forward to it.”

Bubbly, spicy cauldron of ribs and glass noodles in their spicy galbitang. Huge, meaty chunks of pork in their gamjatang. And their KIMCHI!!! Plus all the utensils, napkins and even toothpicks are in this convenient drawer at each. Condiments, water and tea ready at the table. We already want to come back!!!”

We were in search of a light, low-sugar cake and Marjan recommended a stunning saffron, pistachio, and rose petal cake that not only looked beautiful but also had an eclectic fragrance. She thoughtfully wrote a note on the cake and provided a candle, which was a nice touch. The environment was friendly, and the quality of the cake was outstanding. “Strange mix: their tea at regular sweetness was a little on the less sweet side, and their boba was super sugary tasting. Overall not bad, but would prefer very slightly sweeter drinks and less sweet boba.”

Although, their actual hours are different than what is internet posted.Parking: There are other businesses that share parking but had never not found parking.”

“This bakery is located inside a supermarket towards the left hand side. Their pastries look beautiful, and those remind me of French pastries. Cashier was friendly, and she recommended popular items for us to try. I ordered almond croissant and americano. The americano is decent, and no sour after taste, which is what I like. Almond croissant tasted amazing. The pastry was crispy and fluffy. It was not too sweet that perfect for me. The pastries might be a little pricy, but the portion is pretty big. It is worth it to me. I will be back to try more different pastries.”

“It was a fund raiser for my granddaughters' school. The place was full of moms and dads, friends, neighbors, softball members, younger siblings and grandparents. The pizza and salad were Delicious and as soon as the kids ate they played the arcade games and fed quarters into the toy machines to see what prizes they would get. It's well organized and has a quick turnaround -Order, Pay, Eat, Play. A fun place to get a great pizza.”

“Taylor's Steakhouse is a good place to enjoy traditional steakhouse fare in an atmosphere that will take you back to midcentury American comfort and service. The meats are well-cooked, and sides are mildly seasoned (garlic is the spiciest thing you'll encounter in most dishes) and do well for sensitive palettes. Sauces for all dishes are typically served on the side in gravy boats, which is excellent for folks who want to dress their own meats. For some dishes, like the chicken piccata, heavier elements like capers may have settled to the bottom of the gravy boat -- so give it a stir before dressing. Main dishes are served a-la-carte, with sides like their very creamy mashed potatoes (some skins whipped in the mix, still very creamy) and garlic spinach that are reasonably priced additions with large portions. You came here for the steak, ribs, and seafood -- take your vegetarian and vegan friends elsewhere: the only things here for them are sides and a couple of salads not quite hearty enough for a full entree (no veg protein options). The staff are friendly and helpful, especially front-of-house. Inside, the bar area and main inside dining areas are dimly lit enough that your eyes will need a moment to adjust on a bright day, but day or night, this gives a cozy and intimate feeling in the spacious interior with many booth-style tables. (If you are seated in the main dining, you might need a phone flashlight to read the menu.) A wine room with seating and private group room allow for booking of private parties. There is also a large indoor patio with a fireplace and large windows for brighter daytime lighting. There are a few tables on a fully outdoor back patio, a terrific place for lunch (which, at the time of this review, is served only on Thursdays and Fridays). On the outdoor patio, the staff allow dogs (during lunch seatings and sometimes dinner, if it's not overly busy); if you're bringing a dog, it's easier to enter through this back patio from the parking lot side of the restaurant. There is a parking lot in back that can get full at busy times, so if you're coming on a weekend evening, you might want to grab a street parking spot on your way in. There are small signs at the entrances that read "dress code," but don't list the dress code. Their website reads: "We consider tank tops, flip flops, team athletic attire, and provocative clothing too casual for Taylor's dining experience." Expect to see many people in jackets and ties and otherwise dressed for "fine dining," though for lunch seatings, more casual like hoodies and athleisure wear are common. Some reviews on TripAdvisor also note folks coming in for dinner service in jeans and t-shirts.”

“They've recently remodeled here, and it is beautiful.Nice warm colors and lots of windows to let in light. The menu is very large with plenty of variety. Can be a bit on the pricey end, but everything I have tried has been well executed, and the portions are huge, so options for sharing or taking food home for later. However, there are other options in the area with better price points and similar quality. There is enough parking most times I've been. The lot is fairly easy to get in and out of. The staff has normally been efficient, and service is usually quick. If anybody else serves a popeye burger LMK That's good stuff.”

“My wife and I have been to numerous Starbucks locations near our home and while away. This Starbucks is our favorite and it's because of the people working there. My wife orders her Frappuccino a certain way and at almost every location she gets push back from the workers who say her drink won't come out right. At this location in the Target store, the staff makes it her way. The young lady behind the counter now recognizes me and asks how my wife is doing and makes the drink to my wife's specification and satisfaction. I know it's only a coffee drink but it's how my wife likes it and that matters. Kudos to the young lady for getting the customer what they want.”

“While enjoying a delicious hot chocolate with a friend, we were pleased to meet Santa, who had just finished riding in the Montrose Christmas Parade. He asked us “Do you believe in Santa?” We replied Yes! He handed each of us a presidential dollar coin. Ho Ho Ho!”
