“Great and soft gluten free baguettes for their sandwiches. Their steak sandwich meat is pretty good. Their chicken Philly sandwich is kind of tasteless rubbery and has no seasoning. Their fries use to be better and a larger portion, they definitely shrunk their French fries cups to save money but charge you more for less. To be honest they use to be better years ago. It's still decent though to go for an experience.“

“This place is still good but the food had in my opinion slipped somewhat. On a recent visit the cheesesteak wasn’t as hot as I would have liked , the wiz was a little lite and this might sound crazy but the Sandwich wasn’t as “sloppy” as the past. “On the recommendation of a Philly native, I went to a place called Steve’s Prince of Steaks in North Philly. The moment I walked in I was hit with a intoxicating aroma. The setting was fairly unremarkable, with stainless steele walls and painted cement floor, along with a row of barstools and a small counter, perfect for late night and early morning bar closers or the lunch crowd from the Pepsi bottling plant across the street! I sat down to eat my meal that consisted of a traditional Philly cheesesteak with fried onions cheese whiz and steak. The onions were so flavourful and the cheese whiz was almost addictive, I nearly finished it in one bite. I left this place thinking that I now know why they call it prince of steak and winner of a Guinness Book World Records winner. If I had to recommend going anywhere when you stop in Philly, it would be at this place rather than the overhyped tourist spots seen on TV and paid travel reviews. I feel like it embodies the quintessential idea of Philly, It is a true testament to Phillys traditional cuisine and really gives the city it’s nickname, the city of brotherly love and sandwiches!“

“So I recently discovered this place looking for lunch for work. The first time I ordered from here I got a cheesesteak, cheese waffle fries and a slice of bbq pizza. Now, the fries were good, they give a great portion for a small. The cheesesteak would’ve been great also but someone was a little heavy handed with the salt shaker and they kind of blew the taste for me. Don’t get me wrong, it was good but the overpowering of the salt kind of ruined it but i still ate it. Last is the slice of pizza. That was delicious, i just wish they would keep it in a bit longer so the crust can get a little crispier. It was the first thing i ate and had to peel the crust off to eat with every bite i took. Overall, it's a cool laid back place. I would still recommend it to those who are looking for a pizza place downtown. They also have some desserts in the fridge that look absolutely appetizing. “This is my second time ordering delivery from Jacks and the second time I am beyond happy. Both times my food was so hot it had to cool down for me to eat it.I would confidently say this is the best cheesesteak in the area.I’ve also had the chicken parm sandwich and fries both also above the average standard of almost any other place around here.“

“There was a group of 7 women and we had just left the Katt Williams Comedy Show heading back to Maryland, so most of us wanted just a little something to hold us over and since it was late night. The group ordered pizza, fries, steak subs, and chicken subs, but they also had a salmon sub. I will be scheduling a drive up to Philly soon just to try that salmon sub; which will be a difficult choice considering my chicken cheese sub was the best I've ever had in my 57 yrs. We all was very very pleased with everything we ordered. There was a wait even that late at night, but a well worth it wait. We actually was 1 of 3 of the last customers that were there waiting and we closed the restaurant down with a personal shot out to Lil' Trent as he locked up. “My boyfriend and I used to live right around the corner from Pasha’s and loved it for lunch or a delicious, filling dinner. We moved to a different part of the city but went tonight for takeout.Not only was the food delicious (falafel is always so incredible) and the portions are huge, they remembered me when I walked in the door! That was mid at best. Almost no cheese on it and a mediocre sauce. The place does have seating in the back despite how it looks, it just ordering was slightly confusing because they had a sign over a tablet that said order here but you really should order at the countertop because the tablet doesn't have all the options of things you could order like drinks or slices. Overall though a really good place to grab a bite, excellent staff and good food!“

“Great little place in south Philly a few minutes from I-95. Parking is a little tough. There is a small lot nearby. The SMALL steak is HUGE. $20 for a steak, coleslaw, and a drink. Cash only. I was there mid-afternoon and there was a line. Food came out fast. There was a picture of Babe Heffron and Bill Guarnere (101st Airborne) over the counter. When I said something, the entire group became incredibly friendly and shared a few stories about them.“

“I've been going here since they first opened and I'm glad they made it thru the pandemic. Keep it up, Shizz! The food is always great. I always recommend ppl to go here and bring my folks from out of town. My only complaints are the hours aren't consistent sometimes and some stuff sells out quickly, but you can never go wrong with a cheesesteak or those seafood egg rolls. “I wasn't aware that Joseph's was under new ownership. It only hit me when I saw the Joseph's Pizza logo on a sandwich wrapping paper down the street at the Gaul & Co. Malt House. With the weather being absolutely perfect on Friday, I decided to pop by. It was very lively inside. The last time I visited Joseph's was in the early 2000's and don't remember it ever being that busy. The seating and decor didn't change much but it's always been a cozy interior in my opinion. I noticed they serve alcohol and I'm pretty sure they never used to. We started with an order of fries and a Vampire Slayer pizza. The fries were good but didn't have salt on them. The Vampire Slayer pie was slammin' - some slices were greasier than others. I loved the thin crust. It would've been better with veggies but I wanted to try it as is first. Next time I'll definitely get it with toppings. I'm stoked about the Joseph's revamp. This is a great spot to take out of town guests, especially with the pizza mural outside.“

“Beat the stadium food. Stadium Grill by Oogie's is the best hole in the wall for people planning to see a game. Why pay $20 for a mediocre burger when you can pay half that for some delicious, greasy perfection. I came in to Stadium Grill before a recent hockey game with some friends for brunch. Sporting sandwiches, pizzas, BREAKFAST pizzas, and more, we split a sausage Boli platter. Bolis are Stadium Grill's specialty; an edible cup made from pizza dough, filled with egg, cheese, and meat, topped with Everything Bagel seasoning and served with a side of ketchup or spicy ketchup (the spicy ketchup is simply hot sauce mixed in with their ketchup). While I'd prefer to eat Boli's with marinara, the Boli's themselves are amazing. One platter comes with enough Boli's to feed 4 hungry dudes and each Boli is densely packed with protein. The seasoning adds much needed salt and packs so much flavor. It's a must get for groups. Stadium might not be fancy, but it's a fast, affordable, and delicious way to prep before watching a game.“
