“Great find and a much needed break from the usual. There is a ton of parking. Atmosphere is modern but smart. There is about an equal divide between indoor and outdoor seating, along with a handful of bar seats. Wine menu has several wines rated 90+ points by Wine Spectator. The wine and cocktail menus is focused but more than adequate. Wifey and I are usually winos, but we opted for their speciality cocktails--delicious. Apps were fantastic: burrata, bread, and calamari. She had a seafood pasta dish and I ravioli with short rib meat. Service is excellent. The only negative is the noise level: it's just too damned loud. This can easily improve with sound absorption so that patrons can speak easily.”

“Stoped by on Valentine’s Day and it was the most adorable place to get coffee! The decorations were so cute, the Moonstruck Matcha was delicious, and a little friend came over to say hi! Definitely want to bring my friends when they come visit!”

“Table was not ready at reservation time, but these things will happen. The rest of our evening was fantastic. The food was delicious and everyone is extremely attentive. “Very good, but everything tasted a tad too sweet. Kung Pao was very good, but California rolls and orange chicken were just mediocre. I ordered a glass of wine and was offered "a glass and a half" instead. I accepted, but didn't realize that my serving of wine, which wasn't delivered for 20 minutes, would cost me $19! We will not be returning.”

“The food was spectacular!! This was our first time visiting. When we walked in there was one party standing at what seemed like the front of a line and an employee handed them menus and then gave us a menu, then he disappeared. The party in front of us went to sit down and it was unclear what we were supposed to do next. Eventually we figured out we were supposed to move forward to order before sitting down. Most bakery items were sold out, we were there around 2p, so we ordered the tequila carolina french toast and ranchero eggs benedictine as it was the first time we were eating for the day. We paid and went to sit down. We wanted to try the horchata but it was empty so we stuck with tea. The food came out as it was ready so we didn’t get our food at the same time. There was no salt, pepper, or hot sauce on the table. We asked for hot sauce when the food came for the eggs with the french toast, but no one ever came back with any. There were salt and pepper packets on the coffee stand. The sauce on the ranchero eggs was flavorful and paired well with the pork and fresh bread. But the real winner of this meal was the french toast! The allow croissant used for the bread could’ve been eaten plain. I appreciated the syrup on the side as the dish was very sweet and we could co trim how much syrup we used. The eggs were cooked perfectly but had no seasoning whatsoever. The bacon was also cooked perfectly - slightly crispy, but cooked through. I would recommend the food here 100 times over, but based on my experience, you don’t go here for the service. But do go for the food.”

“I took a close friend to experience Bliss for the first time and Bliss was perfection. Hostess and bartenders were extremely welcoming. We were sat on time and had a great view of the kitchen. Brett our waiter was awesome from the second he introduced himself. The entire staff was extremely attentive the entire evening. Brett was so knowledgeable of every dish and introduced them in way, you wanted to try them all. We took his recommendations and had the perfect dinner. Tony the chef came to your table and was kind enough to send over a complimentary dish to taste (which was delicious). The entire evening was perfection, the food was mouthwatering, the atmosphere was perfect, it wasn't loud, it was pretty perfect. Brett and Tony...Thank you!!!! See you guys soon!”

I came back around and the employee that evening went above and beyond to make sure the Miami vice was done again to ensure not cross contamination. “My wife and I spent a night in San Antonio celebrating our anniversary and came here for dinnee on the recommendation of a friend. Great little neighborhood tucked away between the Pearl district and River Walk and we walked on the River Walk to get here from our hotel. She started off with a miso fish broth that was the best miso soup we've ever had--really light on the fish flavor to the point it was there, but didn't overshadow the miso. The Arkami Carpaccio was next and was also one of the best things we've ever eaten. The waygu tartare was a little sweet (must have been some kind of light Japanese sauce stirred in to it before plating over sushi box rice, but anyone else would probably love it--I'm just not a sweets guy). my Snowcrab nigiri was also very good as well as my wife's sampling of various other fish. Ambiance and Atmosphere were both pleasant with anime playing on one TV and some pretty seating outside. Service was friendly and made us feel important somehow. It's a little pricey, but for an aniversary worth every penny. The matcha ipa was very good, too. 5 stars for sure!”

“Visiting from out of town we had a wonderful experience at Bar Loretta. It was great to see a local not on the River Walk thrive. The service was top notch from Ray! We loved everything from the cocktails to the appetizers (recommend the quail, shrimp and scallops), burrata beet salad, and entrees (our daughter said the Loretta burger was the best she ever had). Great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!”

It was enough food for 2 adults and 2 children. My daughter had the street tacos and they were good too. The chicken fajitas are not seasoned well. The avocado salsa is a must!”

“As a foodie, I've been to several Dennys and have NEVER had such great service as I did with Debbie H. The best part of her service was that my family never had to ask once for a refill. She continously kept our drinks filled, smiled the entire time, was beyond attentive to our needs,and made sure we were okay throughout our entire meal. She even got us to go drinks without having to be prompted. The food too was amazing. We tried the new menu items of the spicy skillet and the Bourbon chicken skillet. It was soooooo good and filling. We will definitely be back! Thanks Debbie for giving such great service. ? Good servers are hard to find nowadays.”

“Our server (Roseanne) was on point, even though they were busy (Sunday morning) she ensured everything was up to par, our food was hot and fresh, our coffee was hot and never empty. There was another server by the name of Joel, he wasn’t our server but he made a memorable experience by the way he described the food and his amazing customer service. The GM was Zack, he made sure our food came out correctly and quickly, he made time to come to our table and talk to us to make it a more personalized experience!”

“It wasn't that busy but it still took about 8 minutes of standing at the front before we got seated. Once we got our seat the service was friendly and attentive. Our food took awhile to come out after ordering (maybe 20 minutes). Considering it wasn't busy at all that seemed strange but the food was good and made up for the wait. I prefer this location over the one at Culebra because that one always has kids running all over the place.”

“We arrived after 9pm (party of 4) and were greeted by Daniel who showed us to our table of our choice, gave us menus and took our drink orders. He returned quickly and very pleasantly took our orders and answered our questions. We noticed quite a few more customers arriving around the same time. Daniel brought most of our order but explained they had a sudden increase in customers and apologized for the delay in one order which was an additional item to share. He was very apologetic and so pleasant that we fully understood. Acknowledging to us for the delay helped us understand as well. He still kept returning to be sure we didn't need anything and we noticed he and another server were doing this for everyone despite being so busy. Never once did they make us feel like they were too busy to meet our needs. We felt that all of the dishes were very delicious and the service could not have been better. The staff should be commended for their professionalism and we certainly appreciated our delicious food and great service.”

“Loved the wings. Coffee wings have a great smoky flavor. The jerked wings are spicy and absolutely delicious. The only thing better than the wings was our super friendly and knowledgeable waitress, Jillian. She made great recommendations and even invited us to a game of Jenga while we waited on our wings. Almost forgot the mozzarella sticks were the best I've ever had. Will definitely be back. Great wings, great service.”

“Was craving Asian comfort food but am very picky (I don't do chains for Asian food) so it was a treat to find this little gem in San Antonio. The owners are so nice (the kids are adorable) and very friendly. But never mind the service, lets get to ambiance and food. Although small, the restaurant is very Instagram-able, all the walls have beautiful or interesting artwork. Very cute! The food was terrific. The chicken karaage was crispy and the sauce was a little unique. Add a little of the Japanese hot chili powder and you're good to go! Both regular and spicy edamame had good seasoning and cooked properly (I hate soggy edamame!). For mains, we had the Chicken fried rice which was tasty. My friend who loves spicy, had the volcano heat bowl with chicken and he said it was delicious and wolfed it down in minutes. What I absolutely loved was the Winter special Yoshiya Beef Udon. The beef was tender and the broth was full of umami, hearty and very satisfying. I ate it all and drank down the last of the broth, too. Highly recommend that you try this place. Owners are originally from Los Angeles and their recipes are on par with my favorite places in LA and SF. If I ever make it back to San Antonio, I'm stopping here for sure!”

“We get the munchie meal it has just the right amount of food for two adults. We order the honey BBQ and the Buffalo split. The wings and the fries are to die for. Well worth the price for a really good food large crispy wings these are not dinky these are a great size. Friendly staff with every visit, great atmosphere and music. “Texan Sizzle is a fantastic breakfast and lunch restaurant in downtown San Antonio. It is a smallish spot with only a few tables inside. I had the breakfast tacos on Sunday and thought they were so good I had to go back and try the breakfast sandwiches on Monday. “Good experience overall. I went for the first time ever today with my dad and step mom and they messed our burgers up. Fortunately they remade the burgers and gave us fresh fries which made me more than happy. Additionally they treated us to some shakes which is why I wanted to leave the review. They made it more than right and went above and beyond to do so.”

“Guys definitely recommend this place. As soon as you come in you see all their cute and artisan tableware. We were greeted by the sweetest server as well. They had big food portions and weren't even able to finish all our food. They make their tortillas and bread at the restaurant. “We dined in here for an early dinner last week. Hubby got the Chicken Shawarma plate with a Greek Salad, a cup of Lentil soup, and a sweet tea. He said he absolutely loved his entire meal. I had the Gyro plate with rice and Greek salad and tea. The food portions are ample and a great value. Two people could likely split an entree. The bacon is flavorful but doesn't overwhelm the burger taste. The size is good.Fries are crinkle. Mine were a bit too salty. They will redo if you ask but I didn't care to because the burger was big enough to fill me up.The frozen custard is a perfect combo of melted like a shake with decent amounts of spoon scouping custard. The espresso was a fabulous touch.The cheese curds are addicting!We were there an hour before closing and everything was fresh and hot.So overall, just like my heart shaped cheese curd, I concur... love this place.”

I have not yet had the pleasure of dinning at mixtli (a mistake I shall correct soon).The wine shop on site is literally the best one in town and I'm obsessed with how well Hailey does with her recommendations. The dinner areas are segmented into 4 small dining areas. They are cozy and create an intimate setting. They really sweat the details.Shout out to our server Cortez. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and was on point with recommendations.We ordered the Escargot. WOW were we blown away. The chef's rendition severs it out of the shell in a bowl with an amazing sauce... The chef has ruined Escargot for us... This is the only way we want to eat it going forward!!I had the Snapper... The sauce again stole the show. Great dish.The only critique was the duck dish my wife ordered. Despite internal temp being cooked to a perfect medium, the sear was overdone and was a little tough.Overall great venue and great experience. Definitely recommend and will go back next time in SA.”

“We visited Flemings Steakhouse at the Quarry. We started with a blueberry lemon drop martini which was a great choice. For our appetizer, we went with their crab cakes which were super delicious. My husband also ordered the lobster bisque which was creamy rich and had generous portions of lobster. However, when it came time for the main course, there was a slight hiccup. I ordered the ribeye with a lobster tail, while my husband opted for the ribeye with crab legs. I am not one to send food back so I felt bad but I also didn’t want to get sick. That poblano cream sauce is to die for! They also gave us a military discount (husband is USMC), and they threw in a free mac and cheese bar as a late-night snack if we booked within 72 hours. I called them a few weeks before our event and asked about appetizers because I hadn't figured out what to do for cocktail hour yet. They only charged for the actual appetizers, not extra fees for extra people or anything, and they were passed appetizers. They bring multiple people, so you don't have to worry about a thing. They helped with the cake cutting, they cleaned up plates and cups during and after dinner, and they even helped with venue clean up at the end of the night! This company goes above and beyond for their clients! I would 1000% recommend this company for your catering needs!
