“We tried Win Garden for the first time today and were very pleased with it. The fried noodles were tasty and chock full of meat and vegetables. The fried rice and garlic ribs were better than average, and the spring rolls were crispy and the filling not mushy. But the biggest surprise was the ginger beef and bbq sliced pork. Honestly the best I've ever had. Tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The only downside was the almond so gai, which, although very tasty, was sliced a bit too thin and so was slightly overcooked and tough. It was a pickup order, very fast and very hot! I would reccomend!“

“This is, in my opinion, one of the most authentic Cantonese barbecue spots in Calgary. As someone who appreciates good Chinese cuisine, I can confidently say this is the best place for southern-style Chinese BBQ in the city. The flavors are incredibly genuine, and the dishes are consistently well-prepared, bringing a taste of traditional Cantonese cooking to Calgary.

The highlight for me has to be the roasted pork and crispy-skinned chicken. The roasted pork is tender and flavorful, with perfectly rendered fat and a deliciously crunchy skin. It’s not easy to find this level of quality outside of southern China, but they absolutely nail it here. The crispy chicken is another standout – juicy on the inside with a crispy, golden-brown skin that is simply addictive.

Eating here for the 100th time, always great, fresh, friendly and the staff are amazing! Extremely kind and caring, we drive 30 min to come here and it’s always worth it!! “Handsome boy” they call my son and it’s his favourite restaurant. The War wonton soup is especially good!“

“The food was amazing. The ginger beef was crisp and spicy with more beef than breading. The chicken balls were made with chicken breast meat and again way more meat than breading. The sweet & sour sauce was perfect. The chicken fried rice had lots of chicken and was cooked perfectly.

The people cooking and serving were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant, although take out might be a good option if you are seeking atmosphere. It’s clean and the food is awesome, so atmosphere is less important.“
