“I had an amazing experience at Taste of Szechuan in Edmonton! The food was incredibly fresh and clean, and the hot pot was such a fun and flavorful experience. It was my first time having hot pot in Edmonton, and it exceeded my expectations. The service was also fantastic—Rui, our server, did an excellent job making sure we had everything we needed. I left feeling really good and satisfied. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great hot pot spot!“

With peppercorn sauce 4/5, beef with peppercorn sauce 5/5, shrimp with peppercorn sauce 3/5.
That’s just my experience. Would I come back- maybe“

“So so so good. Worth the trek, and timing my day around so I can be here well before it closes at 7pm. I always get the minced beef sauce and tomato and egg sauce with round thin noodles or somatic noodles. Dumplings are also amazing. I’d like to try their cold noodles sometime. One of my favourites in Edmonton.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs available.“

The food was what we have been craving for, and was even more amazing heated up the following morning as we all do ? Tony our delivery guy was so friendly and kind. I felt like I had made a friend at the door. Made me smile ? will definitely order from here again“

“Just finishing eating for the second time in as many days. This place is unreal. Takeout, debit/cash only. I suggest calling a couple hours ahead to order as the first time I went and hadn’t ordered ahead so just got whatever they had left (still amazing!). Prices are exceptionally reasonable. I highly recommend this place and will be back very soon (maybe tomorrow).“

“Absolutely the worst Chinese food I ever ate...so called chop suey was nothing but bean sprouts in a watery broth with a couple of shrimp tossed in, deep fried prawns were almost all batter, the same with chicken balls. You had to pry the obnoxious batter off to find a tiny morsel of meat. Egg rolls were the same battered attrocity. I couldn't find anything in them worth eating. I spent $125.00 on unedited garbage...NEVER AGAIN! S“

“We were visiting from Toronto and was pretty surprised the food was comparable to some chinese restaurants in Toronto. The food was great for dinner, they did a really good sweet and sour pork. It's not chewy, and the sauce tastes good. We ordered a bunch of classic chinese dinner dishes, and they were all well prepared.“

“I have been a regular customer and decided to reach out to them for catering an event for ~70 people for a baby shower. I was able to get not only a very reasonable quote for the menu as I wanted, but also a very reasonable deal with a balloon arch and photography included. Preet was an absolute delight to plan with, and was always reachable and responsive to every query right up to the day of the event. Staff was as much invested in the success of the event as myself and my own family, which made it more personable and cared for event to witness and enjoy! Thank you to all the chefs for the fantastic food, the guests were surprisingly delighted and awed and even more fantastic service.“

“Came here with my family for a feast. Second time here and it still did not disappoint. Wasn't busy at the time we came. Food came out piping hot and fresh. Everything was tasty and super authentic. Definitely recommend the fried chicken, 4 seasons wok fried green beans, eggplant and pork hotpot, beef chow ho fun, and mayo fried shrimp. Best of all, their serving sizes here are large! This restaurant will be relocating to NE Edmonton in the near future, but will still be visiting them.“

“It was our first time at a Korean Chinese restaurant, and I found it more interesting than a regular Chinese restaurant.
The staff immediately greeted us with "an nyeong ha se yo" (hello in Korean) when we came in. We noticed that the staff were chatting with other customers in Korean as well.
The space was not very large, but there were many beautiful paintings on the wall, which made it feel like a gallery.
The menu was available in Korean and English, with detailed descriptions of each dish. They also provided a "popular items" menu with pictures for reference, but we chose what we wanted based on the descriptions.
We ordered Beef Bob, which was attractive with a lot of tasty pan-fried beef. It also included broccoli, baby bok choy, carrots, water chestnuts, straw mushrooms and a flavorful glaze sauce. The dish had a homestyle feel.
We also had Szechuan Jajang. I was interested in both the original and Szechuan versions of jajang myun, and I finally chose the Szechuan version. The staff kindly warned us that it was quite spicy. The dish was topped with cucumber, and the spicy soy bean sauce included shrimp, squid, pork, Korean zucchini and red onions. It also came with sides of pickled radish, onions and sweet soy bean sauce. I mixed the sauce with the noodles, and the flavor was slightly savory and sweet, followed by spiciness. It was great, but I would recommend the original version for those who cannot handle very spicy food.
I noticed someone on Google Maps reviewed it as "The Best Jajang Myun Place in Edmonton". I did not have others to compare it to, but I can definitely say it was delicious.“

“this place has the yummiest food ever, you can tell it was made with care, the server is a sweet man who always made me feel welcomed when i would come here as a youth very hungry after practice. 10 years later they still mean so much to me and i see them every time i visit Edmonton. you cant buy atmosphere you just have to have it, and this place has the most relaxing and calm one I've ever experienced. the jasmine tea is always the perfect temp, the food tastes better than anything i can find in BC and i still wish i could walk down the street and grab some of his ice cream chocolate pears but i cant these days. i miss this place a lot im so happy to see they survived covid. 10/10 i have taken all my family here and even my nana ( who hates new food) loved this place. bring your family, sit and eat good food, this place has such a glow from the inside and charm. you cant buy that anywhere else. LOVE you CTNH“

“I’ve been eating here for years, food never disappoints other than one time something was off (no sauce or seasonings on one dish). 酸菜白肉 was very authentic and flavorful, the spicy boiled beef was tender, and the crispy wontons were light, crispy. The portion sizes are generous. The menu is small but everything is made well, the restaurant honours directions. Would definitely recommend.“
