About Bakers Cafe

Bakers Cafe offers an excellent value with generous portions and lovely presentation. The afternoon tea selection is impressive, with a variety of flavors and textures, although the tea selection could be improved. The staff is extremely friendly, and the property is clean and bright. The cafe makes up for its ambiance with its eclectic China dishes and reasonable prices.

The waitress was the best part of the experience, explaining the different teas and answering all questions. The teas were enjoyable, with the Al Forno blend having a nice pink color. The food was generally delicious, with the veggie croissant, egg and cucumber, and scones being highlights. However, the cheese sandwich was a bit dry. The desserts were a mixed bag, with the tartelette with gelatin, little lemon meringues, and almond macaroon being the best, while the carrot cake was too sweet and the brownie lacked flavor.
