I have only had the pizza here (5 stars), and it is delicious. The Soul II Seoul pie was a bit of a let down, but the Magnum was amazing.
Service was less friendly than expected, but the pizza made up for it. Kind of busy, so I will give them a pass.
Patio was neat but being right next to the road made it harder to chat.

What really stood out was that they brew their own beer on-site — and you can really taste the craftsmanship in every sip. “I never knew or heard about this beer. I was at the Costco liquor store, and here they have a variety pack of banded Peak, and it looked good. Wow!!! Your beer is amazing! “A top tier option in Calgary if you are looking for a place to grab a drink and some good eats.
The taproom itself is very inviting and conceptualized very well.
The beer is well crafted with high quality ingredients and it comes through with every sip. They have a nice variety, so there will be something for anyone and everyone.
I was blown away by the pizza...it easily made my list of some of the best Calgary has to offer. The crust is something special.
Tailgunner is a place I will gladly recommend to anyone and one that I will return to many more times.“

“Award winning craft beer! Lots of different beers on tap and beer to go! They age their barrel-aged beer here and it looks like the place where all the magic happens. A plus here are super clean washrooms. Perfect food menu for snacking and have a beer on a sunny day. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.“

“First visit here tonight, the beer was great (definitely try the Sahti!) and their bread and meat board was something else. However, I think my highlight here was the staff. The head brewer (owner I presume?) gave me a quick education on brewing Sahti and their baker chatted with us about how she makes her amazing bread and all the other in house items she makes. 100% recommend this little brewery and will definitely be back“
