“Their menu is nothing but chicken and potatoes. But they do both these things extremely well. The spicy variants are not as well executed as some of their competitors, but if argue the meat tastes better in general than those same competitors so its a wash.

Staff was polite, punctual, and even brought my guest and I cookies as we were about to leave since they had forgotten to include them with our order (we hadn't even noticed).

The general vibe of the place is a little jarring though. I'm not sure what aesthetic they're trying to capture, because it feels like a bunch just slotted into place and thus having elements of many but not one theme overall.“

“The staff here are really friendly and provide great customer service. Always really impressed with how positive and upbeat they are here. I also appreciate how respectful they are in how they communicate with customers and each other. I have noticed it a few times now when we have come in. This location is right by our house and is our youngest son’s favourite spot to eat so we have come here a fair bit since it opened and they have never failed to impress. The quality of the food is always really good and the restaurant is always clean too. My family and I have yet to have a bad experience at this location. Kudos to the owners, management and staff all round. We recommend this place all the time to people. Good food standards across the franchises (that we have experienced anyway) has meant that no matter where we have gone, if we find a Mary Browns we know we are in for a good chicken burger and yummy taters.“

Lady at front at the time I went in (around 7-8pm) was super nice and friendly, felt even sorry for me when a stranger was asking me for my food lol and offered me free food on the house but I was already full :)

“Giving this place 5 stars because our server was so kind and amazing and our good was just as amazing. What stood out to us was the hostess!! He was absolutely so amazing!! It was my sister’s birthday and he sung happy birthday to her and gave her some m&ms to take home for a present! He was so funny singing to us all night and it was adorable. “Great food, location, and phenomenal service.

Bit of a story, but bear with me. So I mistakenly made my order to the NE Sunridge location, and I was positive I switched it. Apparently, I didn't, or it switched back, and there's no way to cancel an order once it's made. So I sat down with my kid to contemplate my next move and to tell my wife of the situation. After 5 or 10 minutes they called me over, and told me they're going to phone the other Popeyes to notify them I wasn't coming and then used the order information on my phone to make the promotional order that was particular to the NE location. Truly exemplary service. They could have left me to drive a total of 50 minutes to and from the NE location with my 3 year old, but instead took pity on me.
I thought, at the very least, I should leave a glowing review to say thank you beyond me just saying, "thank you," a number of times.“

“Edit Nov 17/23 - I havent been here for a bit, usually go to the north Wow Chicken so I didnt know they changed their name and some of the menu. The lady was so nice! I asked about the name change, the new food items,she let us try some things. I always get the Gang Jeong space but she also gave me the Mala Buldak sauce to try - hhhoootttttttttt! Wow, only a little and I was sweating! As she gave it to me,she said she liked that sauce....good on you lol, that's a very hot sauce! We had the mozzarella K-dog with sugar to try, that was good too! We then had our usual lunch special. Little different with having a packet of bulgogi powder but it worked, and the chicken thighs were 3 large rather then some smaller ones. All good, nothing bad to say! This always was my favorite Wow Chicken location so I'm glad they stuck around and now serve even a little more under their new name!I cannot say enough about this place except that it is named very accordingly!! Between the sauce (spicy BBQ), the breading, the chicken.... It's amazing!!! Ordered the bulgogi fries....man! Crispy and full of flavor! My only regret was that I didn't try this sooner!!“

“Our service was provided by Sienna, a lovely, friendly young woman. I had some questions concerning a gift card and she went out of her way to get me a satisfactory answer! The meat portions are huge! And the spicy sauce really is spicy! We'll be back for sure.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's a level entrance (I don't think the doorway width will accommodate a bariatric chair) with lots of space inside to manoeuvre. The tables and chairs can be moved. I didn't use the washroom, so I can't comment on that.“

“I only went drive through, so no real atmosphere experienced. I ordered a lot of food! It took about 12 minutes for them to make it after I went through the drive through. Mostly everything was great aside from the wings. I thought I was getting bone-in and got boneless and the garlic/parm sauce was just squirted over it and not mixed. Other than that, way better than some of the locations I've tried!!“

“The chicken sandwich was amazing. Exceeded expectations actually. I got the med and it was the perfect amount of heat. I’d compare the heat to Frank’s Red Hot Sauce. Reason I docked a star is because the atmosphere is pretty dull. The hallway painting should’ve been in the dining area. The menu appearance is super boring. The cooler just slapped along the wall is boring. The dining area is just boring.

Food is great and will be back because of it.“

“Juicy hot amazing chicken. Best poutine I've had anywhere west of Winnipeg. Super friendly staff.

The Chicken was way more filling than I thought it would be. At the time I thought it was pricy, but I'll have leftovers for a long while. Better value than anywhere else I've tried.

The poutine reminds me of genuine quebec-style francophone poutine. Most poutine can't compare to that, but today I was feeling lucky and I'm so glad I gave it a shot. The fries are perfectly crunchy and contrast well with the ooey gooey cheese. Totally worth the price.

Also the person on till today was super nice. They were really helpful in putting together my order when I wasn't quite sure what to order. 10/10 and fantastic.“

“I had the burger steak which tasted like it’d been a patty sitting there for a while but the spaghetti and peach mango pie never disappoint. Staff was very friendly but the menu needs work. It’s really hard to figure out what to order and what the combos are.“

The spice is also nice and if you can't tolerate heat then you don't have to get a hot sandwich.
