“I go here with friends every once in a while to diffuse and relax, the hosts are incredibly nice and accommodating the food here is also really good, and compared to other pubs the price of the booze here I think is better than most places. I haven't tried a lot of stuff on the menu yet, but the chicken wings I had here were amazing I think they were the best wings I've ever tried. I like the environment and the ambiance of the location allot just in general a good time. There are like 5 TVs and allot of comfortable chairs. as a whole just a really good place with good prices.“
“WOW & DOUBLE WOW!!! is literally an under statement attributed to the Windsor Rose Pub in Walden. I have never been so impressed with the amazing service myself and 40 friends experienced last evening, April 15th, when we hosted a 60th birthday celebration for a dear friend. First, I would like to express my gratitude to Camilla, Manager, for reserving a private room that was closed off from the main bar and dining area, although easy access to both. I met Camilla a few weeks ago to provide details of attendees and yesterday afternoon when I arrived early, she very nicely set up the various tables & arranged the room to look like a party atmosphere. I originally mentioned there would be 33, however there ended up being 44 in attendance. When I arrived early, I initially met a beautiful young lady, Melissa, whom I gravitated to instantly, therefore asked if she could be our server. Melissa never missed a beat and even though both she and I were amazed at the number of people who kept coming in, she was very efficient, prompt and whenever an order of drinks and/or food were requested, she was back within minutes. Melissa, you are definitely an asset to Windsor Rose and whoever the owner is, I certainly hope you are commended and recognized for going above and beyond the extra mile to ensure we were all given the highest quality of customer service. We even gave her a round of applause at the end of the evening, because she never stopped from 5:00 to almost midnight. I have been to many pubs,, bars, etc. and can honestly state that have never met a server as better qualified and personable as Melissa. Everything was A-one, from the food, drinks, ambience of the private room and would highly recommend this pub to everyone.On behalf of myself, Celine, the birthday girl and 42 friends, sinere gratitude and appreciation dear Melissa and Camilla for making this 60th celebration one that will be remembered fondly by all of us. “My husband and I came here for a date and really liked our experience. We ordered fried pickles for a starter and they were some of the best deep fried pickles we have had. He ordered a beef gnocchi dish off their test kitchen menu and it was incredible, we couldn't believe how high quality beef was used with the dish. I ordered the fish and chips (which is why my rating isnt a full 5 stars), and while I absolutely adored the thick English style chips, the fish was far too heavy and greasy. I could only eat about half of my fish until I started feeling like I was having a little bit of upset stomach due to the greasyness of it. I was still full and we loved our visit (and will return again), but for a gastro pub I expected the fish and chips to be the star of the show. Our waitress was great and friendly, and the restaurant itself was super nice, but the fish and chips let me down.“
“Hands down my favorite bar in 130th and mohagany area!I am only Semi regular there, and all bar staff have taken the time to even learn my name and greet by name on arrival..Typically sit at the wood and never have been met with a less then pleasant time there.Many favorite staff there, feels like an actual Cheers situation in real-life!Definitely a spot to checkout if living in the deeper south!“
