“A wonderful example of a Greek tavern in Calgary is Santorini, where Brian and I enjoyed dinner without reservations and were still warmly accommodated. We were personally served by Louie, whose hospitality made the entire evening unforgettable. He recommended an exceptional Greek Cabernet Sauvignon wine, along with some of the most delicious Greek appetizers, main platters, and desserts we have ever had. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere welcoming, and the service truly amazing. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Greek dining experience in Calgary.“

“When I first saw they were opening a location in Mahogany, I knew I would be visiting for the experience. Was I ever impressed: The food was outstanding!! Totally met my expectations, and then some. The staff were incredibly friendly, and you can guarantee this is a local business that will benefit the community. It's definitely a place that needs to be visited. The 2 signature salads were very refreshing, with the umami and the richness of the sauce polishing and completing it. The rice had a unique, chewy texture and the skewers were also really good, especially the chicken and pork. Every ingredient were very fresh and the flavours blended together perfectly. The owner was very nice and explained each dish to us.
I would definitely go back for that remarkable taste. Worth a try!“

“We had a great experience. We tried the beef and mushroom pizza, another pizza that had deli meat and green peppers (not 100% sure of the name), and also the lasagna.
Everything was really tasty and well-made. The lasagna was good. Between the pizzas, I personally liked the deli meat and green pepper one more than the beef and mushroom, it just had a bit more flavor.
Overall, really solid food, and I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu.“

“Opa is always a go to for us. The food is consistently really good and always tastes fresh. The last time we were in, I was honestly shocked at how fast they made everything without sacrificing quality. One of the potatoes was slightly hard, but that is rare for them. We have been part of this community for over 25 years, and when we heard a donair place had opened nearby, our family was so excited! On our very first visit, we introduced ourselves, welcomed them to the neighborhood, and ordered our first donair — and we’ve been regulars ever since!
Hands down, our all-time favorite beef donair! The garlic spread and sweet sauce combo is how we roll. 😊

“I recently visited OPA! of Greece at Sunridge Mall and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served fast — perfect for a quick, satisfying meal while shopping.
I ordered the falafel wrap with rice, salad, and fries, and everything was absolutely delicious. The wrap was warm and perfectly spiced, the rice and salad were fresh, and the fries were crispy and golden — a perfect side! The tzatziki sauce tied everything together beautifully.
The staff was friendly and made sure my order was just right. The place was clean and had a nice, casual vibe.
