“Another great meal at Van Gogh tonight - I had my usual chicken souvlaki, husband had grilled lamb, and kids had baked pasta and chicken strips. Their pizza is also fantastic! I really appreciate the high quality ingredients, friendly service, and generous portions.

“When I first saw they were opening a location in Mahogany, I knew I would be visiting for the experience. Was I ever impressed: The food was outstanding!! Totally met my expectations, and then some. The staff were incredibly friendly, and you can guarantee this is a local business that will benefit the community. It's definitely a place that needs to be visited. Top reviews for this restaurant don't tell enough for what you will get. Stop in and see these people; you won't be disappointed!“

Li-Ming, with her ever-cheerful and caring attitude, makes every visit a delight. Our family favourites are the chicken and lamb Souvlakis, which are always perfectly cooked and generously portioned. The variety of meats, including succulent beef, tender chicken, and flavourful lamb, ensures there’s something for everyone. Additionally, the assortment of chilled beverages complements the meals perfectly, providing a refreshing choice for every palate.

“Both the gyro and lamb pita wraps were delicious and at a good value. The Opa! Platter, on the other hand, was quite a poor value as it consisted of mostly rice, salad, a tiny skewer of meat, and a pita cut into quarters. Strongly recommend the wraps but give the platter a miss.“

“Came in for a meal and was it ever good! Probably some of the best opa I’ve had, 10/10 for food and speed, it was ready and streaming within a few minutes. Muskaan was working the counter and she was the sweetest! very pleasant girl with great customer service!

“We arrived during peak dinner rush and the workers were visibly very busy; however, they were still able to take the order for my group of 10 people efficiently and with a smile. They were very polite and accommodating to my large group. Most importantly, all our food was prepared within a very reasonable amount of time and it tasted great. They must have a very competent trainer and manager. I don't visit Calgary often, but I would come back to this OPA for sure.“

“Decided to eat in and really enjoyed the food!I got the chicken mega platter with santorini salad and it was soo good?I wish there was more potatoes than the single one I got but I def got enough food to justify the pricewould recommend coming in and eating with friends as there's plenty of comfortable seating when the weather isn't awful“

“Opa is a favorite of mine and I’ve visited this one in the mall over the years. It gets busy being in an awkward spot blocking traffic.
Big issue is the price is getting to the breaking point of where I’ll seek other options.“

“Wow! I was super impressed with my recent visit to OPA Marda Loop. Portion sizes were spectacular and above many of the other locations. The chicken wrap was perfectly cooked, and the perfect balance of each vegetable and tzatziki. I came in around 8 a couple hours before closing and wasn't expecting much but my expectations were long surpassed. My only complaint would be that the fries could have been cooked a little longer as they weren't as crispy to my liking.
Overall a great visit and a full and satisfied belly.“

“Always do a great job with orders, I like that they’re open until 9:30 because I can pick up food on my way home from work. LOVE their Santorini salad with my opa platter or the souvlaki and salad. Recently found out they have lamb skewers for a slight upgrade which i love! And their calamari kills it every time!“

“Forget about calling in an order between 5-830pm with this location. The two owners who work there are very nice people, however, they are losing tons of business because they won't hire help. Everytime I call between those times.. nobody answers. Too bad because they make good food and they are lovely people!! I'm not the only one this happens to either“

“I always get the best service at this location. If you are looking for the finest quality in food and the best customer service, this location is the best. There are always two girls working when I go, and they cooperate and finish orders within seconds even when there is a huge line of customers. “Amazing service! Even with a fast food restaurant workers are absolutely lovely.
Very fast at making the food. I’ve come here a couple minutes before closing twice and both times they were absolutely gems and were able to make my food very quick and with no hassle.
The mall is not my favourite, but with this restaurant it certainly is nice!“

Veronica is amazing, she is friendly, always listens to exactly what you need and makes sure the service is fast and efficient. They are also very clean. “Simply the best! I find it interesting how some of the more negative reviews talk about freshness and value. I can personally say that this place always has fresh ingredients. The beef and chicken are handmade. Vegetables are cut multiple times a day. In my opinion, prices reflect the quality of food and the care and attention that goes into it by its only owner.“

“Sometimes your are not in a mood of fast food but you still want to eat outside. I was not in mood of eating any kind of meat and was looking for vegetarian options. I usually eat in Centennial food court and one of co worker was having Chicken Souvlaki plate but I went for Falafel plate. It was worth the money, was little expensive but falafel were fresh from the fryer and veggies were super fresh. I also chicken Souvlaki later and liked it. I would recommend Meet the Greek for anyone who works in downtown as their are many other food options which can be explored in the food court.“
