“I stopped by after dinner to try the new seasonal flavors, and I was really impressed! The lemon lavender was amazing. The service was awesome too—I was helped by a young man, wearing a blue Yankees hat, I didn’t catch his name but he kindly helped me out with an allergy. He was friendly and super personable. This was my first time at this location, but my family really enjoyed and we’ll definitely be back!“

“Long overdue review. We came by for dessert after dinner and I was excited to try their products. I had been following Milk for a few months prior and the Asian flavours really piqued my interest.

After trying out a few ice cream varieties, I opted for pandan and sea salt skor while he got the banana foster and strawberry. I loved that they use real ingredients and not just flavouring like a lot of places do - there were real banana chunks and strawberry bits in there!

The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. Although parking can be a tight, I would definitely come back to try more of their ice cream and monthly flavours.“

“Been to this location plenty of times. This is absolutely my favorite ice cream shop in Calgary. Their ice cream is so creamy and delicious. My favorite regular flavors are Strawberry, Guide’s Mint, and Earl Grey. I usually come at least once a month because their seasonal flavors are great as well. Right now, the Ferrero Rocher flavor is living in my mind rent-free :’)

The staff are always friendly and helpful and they let you sample other flavors. It can get pretty busy on weekends especially in the evenings. The place itself is quite small so it can get crowded. There is a bathroom and a water station. However, it is clean and well-maintained. Parking in the plaza is decent.

Definitely recommend Village to everyone! Will be back soon :p“

“One of the OG icecream places in Chinatown calgary! I have been coming here since they opened in 2016(?) and although the portions got alot smaller the quality of the taste of the icecream did not go down imo. They always switch up the flavours as well which is nice if you’re someone that likes to try new things. I love the strawberry icecream and it’s my go to. There is sometimes a line outside especially on the weekend or in summer evenings but it’s worth the wait!! Recommend checking them out if you’re around the Chinatown / downtown area for a sweet snack.“

“Bit dissappointed with the quality of the coffee.. not sure if the drip coffee is from Vietnam or the french variation which has a different more smoky woody taste. The coffee was strong, but it had a different flavour profile that was off since my visit to Vietnam. Hard to pin the flavour profile due to the condense milk mixed in, but it's definitely not what you'll typically have in Vietnam or maybe just the parts I've traveled to.

In my opinion overall, I found the coffee okay. Service was great and the Salty Egg Cupcake so-so.“

“I came by for a chili dog and an ice cream, and I must say how impressed I was with the fellow behind the counter. When I walked up he immediately dropped whwt he was doing to take my order. He was quick witted like a classy bar tender, and despite being out of chili he suggested bacon bits on the dog that were just about as good. He got to work right away after the order and went right back to the cleaning he was doing before I got there.I didn't catch his name but you could tell this guy seriously take pride in his work and he's hot a generous nature.It was a unique and personable experience, definitely not what I'd expect from a large franchise restauraunt like DQ. 10/10“

The barn floor was really good, but the halo halo was not. Being Filipino, I can say that the halo halo is not how halo halo tastes like.

Other than that, everything else was good. My sister-in-law had the cotton candy and chocolate. The chocolate was excellent!“

She explained the different types of cones and sizes, etc. We felt like we were treated as family. She was so great. We'll go back again.“
