“They have a wide variety of different icecream flavours that are quite unique. I got their creme brulee and pineapple in a waffle cone and it was delicious. You can also add toppings if you chose. It was so nice to be able to sample different flavours and the staff was very polite.“

“My husband and I have been going to Milk since before they opened their official location, so you could say we're pretty big fans. The flavours combinations never fail to disappoint (the taro salted duck egg flavour from October was legit, and any tea ice creams are always a favourite). As another reviewer said, the ice cream is not overly sweet.
Other ice cream places generally have a pretty big difference (in flavour and texture, if not in quality altogether) between their sorbets/plant-based ice creams compared to the dairy ones. Here? Not the case. I'm not lactose intolerant, and yet I get the plant-based ice creams without thinking about it. In my experience, they've never been icy or less than their dairy counterparts - ditto for the sorbets I've had.

Even if you didn't grow up with Asian flavours, you will be nothing less than thoroughly spoiled by how daring and consistently well-executed their menu is.“

Everyone who works at village is so nice from my experience but she went above and beyond, put sparklers in our friend’s birthday scoop of icecream, and even joined us in singing happy birthday 😇. “Growing up in Montréal, I spent a lot of time at the original La Diperie, so the brand matters to me. Tonight at the Country Hills location my daughter and I had the kind of visit that reminded me why I love it. We were welcomed by Kruti, warm, cheerful, and fun with my little one. She helped us choose, explained the dips and toppings, and turned the melted chocolate moment into a real experience. I have had a few disappointing visits at other branches in Montréal where the experience felt rushed, so this stood out. Owners, great hire, this team does justice to the brand. La Diperie is not just selling ice cream, they are offering a unique experience, and this store gets it right. We will be back with the whole family. Highly recommend.“

“Amazingly friendly service and delicious ice cream! They seem to have limitless flavors! There are many ice cream options from traditional (i.e. vanilla), novel (i.e. honey fig), and uncommon (i.e. ube queso). There is also a wide selection of fresh (i.e. pineapple), candy (i.e. chocolate rocks), and baked (i.e. cheesecake) mix-ins, which are unlimited. Each visit is an adventure! My family and I enjoy going to Abbey's Creations and happily consuming their ice cream. Abbey's Creations is a jewel of North West Calgary! 😊

Update October 29, 2025: Our family continues to be fans of Abbeys! From my first post we have since enjoyed Abbeys delicious ice cream cakes, including ones that have been graciously accommodated as customized special orders (Dubai chocolate, Ube with brownies, and mango are some of our favorites). Most recently I also tried the newest product: stuffed cookies. I am still working through all of the flavors, but the ube and salted caramel are my top flavors so far! Abbeys pleasantly keeps finding ways for me to break my calorie limits! 😁“

“I love Angels Cafe. Sitting on the porch watching the people and Bow river flowing in the background. I usually go for a walk and then stop in for a bite. They’ve got great burgers and salads and friendly staff. It’s a great place with a big heart. And I’ve heard some fantastic music there. Sunday on the patio is excellent.“

“First time visiting here because I am vacationing in Canada. I love the vibe of the place. I think that the pricing is decent as well. I got the sundae with barn floor and halo halo. The barn floor was really good, but the halo halo was not. Being Filipino, I can say that the halo halo is not how halo halo tastes like.

Other than that, everything else was good. My sister-in-law had the cotton candy and chocolate. The chocolate was excellent!“
