I get the best subs and the best service here every time!
I’ve been to this Subway twice now, and I’ve learned that patience is the real secret ingredient. Apparently, “fast food” is more of a suggestion here.
The first time, the employee making our subs was far more interested in chatting with their coworker. Today, a different employee took 10 minutes to make two subs, which is impressive considering Subway’s entire concept is putting toppings on bread while you watch.

I recently moved to Varsity and have gone to this subway a number of times. Sarita is probably the friendliest and most pleasant employee I’ve experienced. She welcomes everyone with a smile and it didn’t take long for her to remember that I liked all the spicy ingredients, especially the piri piri Sauce.
I’ve seen her warmly welcome people who are obviously regulars, which I am becoming, and it feels less transactional than at other locations.
