About Ukrainian Fine Food

Ukrainian Fine Food is a restaurant that offers authentic Ukrainian dishes, such as cabbage rolls, perogies, and sausage. The portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. It is a great spot for lunch, especially for those working nearby. Customers can also purchase frozen perogies and cabbage rolls to take home. The restaurant can be found in a farmers market, and prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion size.

The restaurant has received mixed reviews from customers. Some have enjoyed the flavourful cabbage rolls, tender and delicious perogies, and the poppyseed roll. Others have noticed a decline in the taste of the food, describing it as increasingly tasteless, like a "Cuban resort meal." The pricing has also been a concern, with some customers finding it absurd to pay $12 for 8 perogies and a scoop of boiled onion, when they used to get a cabbage roll, kielbasa, and perogies for $8. Despite these concerns, the restaurant remains a popular lunch spot for those working in the area.

I have been going to this restaurant since they opened. I love their food. I go to Crossroads Market on the weekends to buy their pierogies and borscht. I have never had a bad experience with their food. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious.
The food is classic Ukrainian and so good. The ladies are always chatting in the back. It’s generally busy around lunch and lots of take out. It’s a hearty meal if you hungry or want leftovers.
I'll start by saying that the hot food vendor in Crossroads Market is always tasty and fairly priced.

However, The frozen take home perogies are not great. The dough is inconsistent and the fillings are not very good. For example, the cottage cheese perogies are filled with only unseasoned dry cottage cheese without anything else. No potato, no salt & pepper, the cheese isn't even whipped first. The Sauerkraut perogies are just a blob of mediocre jarred cabbage all alone...read full review
