“Great atmosphere & food. Enjoyed it enough we came back a 2nd night in a row during our Canmore stay. Beautiful open beam alpine style space, music not too loud. Kind of glad another of our favourite restaurants happened to be closed which prompted us to find & try out the Iron Goat. We weren’t disappointed.“

“BEST INDIAN FOOD! This northern Indian restaurant was such a delightful surprise and hands down our best meal in Canmore/Banff. There were many traditional dishes with some interesting modern twists that didn't distract from the familiar flavors of India. We had a party of eight so shared a number of dishes and every single one was a standout. We left wishing we could franchise this in Washington, DC so we could access such deliciousness regularly back home.“

“As someone who is gluten free, this is literally a dream. A celiac person dreams of finding somewhere like here. I have never been somewhere before where I've been able to eat EVERYTHING on the menu. The bison burger and the fish and chips is amazing. Their sushi is all really unique things I've never seen offered really as rolls before. They tasted okay. Honestly I've had way better sushi other places. I do think their entrees are good though and highly recommend that.

“We really love coming here for lunch! The service is always fantastic and the food is top notch. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable yet fancy enough for a special night out. An added bonus, our kids love too! The prices are fair for the quality of food. I think this is the best restaurant in Canmore.“

“Dropped by Murrieta's for happy hour and was surprised to see a near-empty restaurant. Summer tourism has just begun, but I'd highly recommend Murrieta's for a happy hour stop at the least. They have a lot of great $10 deals and a $15 deal on pizzas. We got the lamb meatballs, brussel sprouts, and prosciutto pizza.
It took ~15 minutes for all the food to come out. The lamb meatballs were tender and juicy and came with a slightly spicy tomato sauce. The pizza had a fair amount of mushrooms and prosciutto, and I liked the added kick from the pepperoncini. My favorite dish was the brussel sprouts, which had a sweet and crunchy exterior and toasted almonds.“

“Gorgeous place, definitely the nicest restaurant in terms of ambiance in Canmore.
Food is pricy but it’s good. The vegan hummus and bread was the best hummus I’ve ever had in my life. The vegan cauliflower dish was too spicy for my liking. Vegan soup was just okay. Good beer.

Definitely recommend coming here but you may need to put your name on the waiting list. We had to wait 45ish minutes downstairs and we drank beer as we waited.“

“Canmore Panago Pizza is hands down one of the best pizza spots around! The quality of their pizza is top-notch, with fresh ingredients that make every bite incredibly flavorful. The crust is just right – perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which really makes the pizza stand out. The store itself is always spotless, and it’s clear they take pride in keeping it clean and welcoming. Plus, the staff are so friendly and efficient, ensuring fast service even during busy times. “We ordered (ahead of time) some Sri Lankan short-eats and Lamprais from Nalaka and crew at Canmore Shawarma while visiting Banff in July 2024. The food was delicious 👌🏼👌🏼 The rolls had the same Sri Lankan goodness to them. 🤤 The Lamprais was out of this world. 🤩 Everything was made fresh and packed for us. Exceptional customer service by the staff as well. They went above and beyond to accommodate our request to pick up the Lamprais early in the morning on our way, even before the restaurant opened. Nalaka was very responsive on text messages and placing the orders and picking up was a breeze. We will be returning for sure and this will be a regular spot for food everytime we visit Alberta. 😊👍🏻“
