“This bar and restaurant truly feels like a community gathering place, and we deeply appreciate how the owner has listened to patrons and evolved the space into something that works for so many people. The addition of the pool table has been a fantastic and welcome change — it creates a relaxed, social atmosphere where friends can meet, families can linger, and conversations naturally happen over great drinks and food. We sincerely hope the pool table is here to stay, as it’s one of the reasons we continue coming back, especially with our adult children. Add to that the consistently amazing pizzas (which we come back for again and again), the live music, and the unbeatable location — it’s a place that’s well run and genuinely enjoyable. Lastly, we want to recognize Sam, who has always been incredibly attentive, friendly, and truly over-the-top in her customer service. On this particular night, Sam provided excellent service to everyone, including us. This is a place we value — for the atmosphere, the food, the music, and the people — and we look forward to many more evenings spent here with family and friends.“

“I ordered a custom cake from Cake Bake Shoppe for my son’s 12th birthday and unfortunately there was a mix-up with the pickup date, so the cake wasn’t ready when I arrived. As you can imagine, that was really disappointing in the moment.

However, the way they handled the situation truly stood out. The owner and the employee at the front were both incredibly kind, understanding, and accommodating. They immediately worked to make things right and even offered free delivery. When that didn’t work with my schedule, they prioritized the order and had the custom cake ready within about two hours.

Mistakes can happen anywhere, but the level of care, professionalism, and kindness they showed really meant a lot. Their customer service was excellent and I really appreciated how hard they worked to fix the situation and help make my son’s birthday special.“

“Ok, if you like pizza you need to get pizza from here. Now not saying that there isn’t other great pizza around. But there is something about a small individual size pizza’s that are filling and so tasty. Easy to pop one out of the freezer and make a quick meal. All of the family loves these pizzas and we always in our freezer.“

“The pizza is always amazing. We ordered mozza sticks for the first time and it was lack luster to say the least. It does not mention when ordering the amount of sticks you get. We opened the container and there were 8 little mozza sticks. And instead of marinara sauce, it was salsa. I would not recommend the mozza sticks. The pizza I would definitely recommend.“

“My nephew recommended Bamboo house and I ordered 4 medium platters for my wife’s birthday party. The order was cashew gai ding, ginger beef, Shanghai noodles with 3 meat and General Tao chicken, with a delivery time of 5 pm. The food was delivered exactly at 5 pm and this had to be the best Chinese food myself and our guests have ever had in Calgary. Very tasty, lots of food and a decent price. I would strongly recommend this restaurant!“

“So... where to begin?
I stopped in today for a quick pint after work and was met by lovely Amber as always.
Smile on her face and always gives great service to me alone or if meeting work peeps.
Today was over the top though, started slow (clients i mean) Amber was stressed that the pub was so quiet as she had a staff member coming in and knew it would start rough for her.
No tables!!!
Hair was pulled back into pony tails by both and the cleaning Machine went to town!! Holy crap, they washed everything!! Walls sills bench crevices (GROSS!!!)
These beautiful humans need to be bumped up in pay! Never missing a beat and when they stopped cleaning to serve again hair down, smiles on and never missed a single beat!
I love the Bird!!! Best spot in town

This was my second time here and I came to a different location this time, they were both amazing and you can tell they keep a high standard across all their locations. “I have been to this place couple of times and it's been good, but on my last visit, I ordered a pizza with chicken and bacon crumble on half side and other side was only veggies as my partner is vegetarian. But when I got the order, it was chicken and bacon all over the pizza. It was good that I checked the order before leaving the place. They did however made the correct one for me but I had to wait an extra 10-15 minutes. Otherwise, the pizza always tastes good!!“

“Had the best meat lovers pizza from here. The sauce was perfectly tangy and the perfect amount. The cheese was ooey gooey in the best way. Honestly, one of the best slices of pizza and it was so nice and hot when it was delivered that added to the excellent experience. 100% recommend!“

“I usually order a panago pizza with vegan cheese when I need a quick and easy lunch for me and my 2 kids and don't want to pay for an artisan pizza. They just switched to a new vegan cheese and it is awful. Awful texture, awful taste, and looks disgusting. I won't be ordering again.“
