“Came here to say for a late lunch. We were lucky enough to get a table right outside with a view of the dam. If you’re looking for a quick getaway and want to enjoy some drinks and food by the water this place will do that for you.
The service was great, my husband ordered a large Canadian pizza, it was ok - very bland to be honest. I had the fish and chips which was a decent portion. The fish was amazing but the chips not so much. I would definitely come back and try something else, the atmosphere was what sold me 😅“

“Lounge side was a loud due to someone hosting a lounge party. Our male server Lee was stretched thin; he was covering the lounge area as well. He was apologetic and made me tired watching him run back and forth.
I do wish they premixed their salad as it is difficult to mix together because the portion size is massive!“

“The pizza is always amazing. We ordered mozza sticks for the first time and it was lack luster to say the least. It does not mention when ordering the amount of sticks you get. We opened the container and there were 8 little mozza sticks. And instead of marinara sauce, it was salsa. I would not recommend the mozza sticks. The pizza I would definitely recommend.“

“Just a small quaint pie shop in the Crowfoot shopping area that will satisfy any pie craving. Stopped in for lunch and it was scrumptious. I had the steak, stout, and Gruyère pie and hubby had the chicken pot pie. Started with French onion soup that was not too salty. Finished off with a sugar-topped ginger cookie. “My nephew recommended Bamboo house and I ordered 4 medium platters for my wife’s birthday party. The order was cashew gai ding, ginger beef, Shanghai noodles with 3 meat and General Tao chicken, with a delivery time of 5 pm. The food was delivered exactly at 5 pm and this had to be the best Chinese food myself and our guests have ever had in Calgary. Very tasty, lots of food and a decent price. I would strongly recommend this restaurant!“

“Blackbird is the local bar that every new place is trying to be. Especially with recycled crap like Banquet across the street it's really easy to spot the differences. We were lucky enough to meet the GM of Blackbird our first time dropping by and it's safe to say we are customers for life. The current menu is pub-grub done well, extremely well. The Chef definitely knows what he/she is doing back there and I always look forward to the seasonal menu change. We frequent this place for everything: brunch, lunch, dinner, games, drinks - whatever, doesn't matter. Always a great time.“

“We love McKenzie Towne DQ! Since the pandemic we have been ordering blizzards in the evening on a pretty regular basis. Always two small blizzards and a dog treat. I guess we a regulars now cuz they even know us by name.
