“I accidentally forgot my pouch with wallet in it. It was only three hour later that I realized I had lost my wallet. I went to A and W and they had my pouch in safe keeping. I was so happy to get it back . Very honest people who declined to accept my cash reward . The manager told me that they were happy for me and all they want was our patronage and support from us. “I am new to the town of Calmar. I don't get out much, as I do not know a lot of people in the area. I stopped by to have a drink after work and was really impressed with this place. The owner was a tall, muscular man who was very friendly, with a soft and gentle demeaner. He was even super patient with my specific chicken wing request, and always made sure my drink was topped up.This place has a great atmosphere, and is an awesome place to hang out and play pool. It doesn't hurt that the people who work here are very easy on the eyes as well!“

“This is the third time we’ve been to this DQ. This time I feel moved to take the time to do this review. This DQ is clean, welcoming and has a very positive feeling to it. The staff is all just lovely and informative. Very good. This place is great! Right down to the music they play….the atmosphere is just fantastic! The food is always hot and fresh and crispy and wonderfully delicious ??? Very impressive. There is lots of seating and it is comfy too ? Favourite DQ in the Capital by far! “Came in to place a to go order for the family. Hanna was working the front and took my order. She greeted us with a warm smile and a very friendly personality, very welcoming and friendly. She informed me and my son it would be a 20 - 25 minute wait so we sat at the bar to kill the time. Aaron and Cody were very busy but also very attentive to us. They were both the picture of personable and professionalism. Also, if you ask Aaron to make you a surprise cocktail you are in very good hands. He is an amazing bartender. When our food was ready Hanna came to the bar and informed us she had taken the initiative to have our food placed under a warmer. Just one of those extra miles that the entire Woodshed/Hayloft staff seems to take at every opportunity.The food was great and I failed to mention that they are supporter of local beer. From Alley Kat and Analog in Edmonton to 88 in Calgary they have some of Alberta's best beers on tap.“
“This is a good restaurant because they have many things to offer and many new things like jalapeno poppers and they have stuffed potatoes and they have about four TVs I already did a five out of five because me and my family always come here and have a good time they also have really good service and the waiters are really nice the food is at that time for me.“
