Definitely a must visit place for lunch (and dinner if their lamb doesn't run out by then). I've liked everything every time I've been here. Some of the more memorable foods were: Lamb Shank, Lamb Shoulder, Camel meat, their bread, the soup, and mango juice. Their beef and rice were really good as well.
The food was really good and so were the prices. I'm from Vancouver and am here visiting family and in Vancouver we don't have any Somali restaurants so this was refreshing. First of all, the soup was perfect, the meat was soft and easy to chew and the baasto was perfect.

The very first time I've ever been to this spot, was with my late Mali-bro Ahmed aka "Joe" a few years back. At first I was very-very skeptical... I mean of course I was I'm just some little white looking native boy from the Northside of Edmonton. Boy was my tastebuds in for a journey, I mean with the new array of South-African flavors & cuisines.
