“We had the BEST experience at Montana’s BBQ & Bar thanks to Alyssa and team!

My niece just turned 15, and Alyssa made her birthday absolutely unforgettable. She didn’t just bring dessert — she went all in and sang Happy Birthday loud and proud, making my niece completely embarrassed in the most hilarious and awesome way possible. The whole moment was priceless, and you could tell Alyssa genuinely cared about making it fun and special.

Her energy, confidence, and sense of humor made the night. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. It’s servers like Alyssa who turn a regular dinner into a memory we’ll laugh about for years.

“This has been one of my favourite restaurants for a long time. Dinning in is always wonderful, but anytime I order delivery this is always my top choice. I already have them a great review on Google, but once again the management team never disappoints! From time to time people make mistakes, that’s life. But when the restaurant goes above and beyond to make it right is a fading thing it seems, but not with JOEY mayfield common!! Twice now the management team has corrected the mistakes and offered great compensation for so. Like one of my favourite things when I order is that they throw in a free brownie. They missed it this one time and I called and she corrected on my next order. Thank you sooo much, the brownies are to die for 😍… you definitely hooked me up on this order too. Made me giggle 🤭. “It is a rarity for me to leave a restaurant actually satisfied with food, because most of the time it has no flavor and the lack of seasoning is covered with sauces. At Woodwork all food was seasoned well (I’m not referring to spice), prepared with care, and served by a lovely staff. The fish and the stakes were cooked to perfection, melting in one’s mouth. Stake tartar was bursting with flavor. It truly was a pleasurable experience. Highly recommended it!!“

“It was my first time. Food was unique and favourable. High end tasting. Ambience was quaint and cozy. Service was excellent. We were attended to with knowledgeable and attentive staff. I think I like that they changed the menu because I went in reading and looking at pictures but there were items on the menu that weren't there so I had to reimagine - which is fine. Because this place is for the pallet. It is a small menu. And it's definitely to share. Worth a try for sure to see if it's your jam.“

“Had a really great experience at this Earls recently. I hadn't been for a while, but the food and drinks were really solid. What really stood out was the service. Tej was incredibly welcoming and professional, and you can tell he really cares about making sure guests have a great time. He checked in at the right moments without being overbearing and handled everything smoothly.

“1. The booths were subject to cold air coming into the restaurant when guests were coming g in and out at a frequent rate. Close to the end of dinner we felt chills and hands were cold. 2. You need to remove the miserable tiny coleslaw offering from Your Menu. Its not only tastes odd, it looks sad and miserably unappetizing. 3. Heard a very LOUD crash of plates in the back. I shouted OPA! We got startled by the crash 4. We heard about the hot water crisis in the kitchen . Waitress Amrit told us we ought to be so grateful we got jn "just in time". I found that frankness unnecessary and a tad condescending. We MADE reservations , remember? 5. We don't wish to sit near the doors next time, especially in the winter months.“

“Very good takeout experience overall. Food was prepared swiftly, staff were polite, and the serving sizes feel very generous for their price—you definitely get what you pay for. Good place to grab a standard Donair, but I would also recommend their other dishes as well. I was surprised by how delicious the butter chicken poutine turned out to be, and if you ever stop by Wok Donair yourself, you would be remiss not to try it.“

“Its a little local hole in the wall thats family run. All day breakfast for dirt cheap and was well cooked. They do have some Ukrainian fare like cabbage rolls and perogies (they were really good), surprisingly good coffee too. All in all a good place for a cheap meal esp one thats local run and would recommend at least once if you're on 118“

“I was there for work trip last week September, would have 2 meals at Ricky's, breakfast and lunch. Due to staying at Holiday Inn, participants received a ticket for breakfast each of the four days, you would see and get recognized by lunch on 1st day and remainder of stay until Thursday. Always greeted with a good morning and smile, the breakfast options filled the bill, I usually picked either pancakes or omelette option. Lunch was same, polite, quick service and great meals. Thank you!!“

“Above and beyond! I came in with a group of girls for my friend’s birthday and they had decorated the table with a sign, table cloth, and candles for her. The service was fast despite it being a very busy night and they even brought out a dessert for her birthday. Love coming here!

Came to Earls again with a student association from the UofA and Alborz served us. It was absolutely amazing. He was very thorough and handled our large party with ease. Will be returning and requesting him!“

“Service at the start was good but then it got to the point that we had to ask another employee for what we wanted, that person never came back. Then some time later our original server showed up. That took even more time to process our request. Food was fantastic, ( always seems to be so compliments to the kitchen) we arrived (around 6pm) after our Elvis show at River Cree was over. We recommend the food, hope that you get a better server. Management should be stopping at tables asking how things are.“

“We did the all you can eat ribs and it was delicious. Our server Nate was so kind and came around frequently asking for our next order so it was prepared when our first order was done, we were never out of ribs! The sauce flavors were great and the beans and corn bread was a great side!!“

The only thing so far I don’t recommend is the steak sandwich as it just tastes kind of bland but everything else I’ve had is wonderful.
