Clean tables, good and attentive service. I think this place deserves better reviews as the pho broth was perfect and the vermicelli bowls had fresh ingredients and was cooked perfectly.
Mediocre at best. Ordered large 64 which is all meats but steak ik pho. Not much meat for all the noodle, soup is decent but light on flavor. Also ordered spring rolls, not very good. Spring rolls too thick in the wrapper and mushy on the inside. Service was not perfect either, I entered as first customer with no one else in the restaurant, and I was the last to have my order taken. Server needs to pay attention. Probably won't come back.
I live around the corner from here. I’ve been coming to this same spot at least once a week for 3 different owners now (7 years at least). The current owners who changed it to Hung Pho are extremely nice people. I know that doesn’t really factor into how good someone’s food is but I like to support businesses that I know deserve it and they immediately check that box.

Hung Pho Vietnamese Noodle Soup is a great family restaurant place with a quiet atmosphere and clean, decent environment. The staff are always friendly, with generous portions and prices you can't beat. The service is exceptional, with a thoughtful and attentive waiter who checks in at the right frequency. The owner has a soft heart for kids, providing extra food to-go without extra charge. The restaurant is super kids friendly and offers spacious booths with plenty of legroom. The food features great savory flavor, with a broth that is excellent, rich, clean, and full of flavor, slow-simmered the traditional way. Popular meals include the #30 pho with vermicelli and brisket, #32 pho with vermicelli, lemongrass beef & rice dish, vermicelli bowl, and soup noodle. The spring rolls are crispy with a great dipping sauce, and the beef stir-fry with peppers has a nice savory kick. The seafood pho and spicy seafood pho are one of a kind. However, the beef steak had a very slight old-oil aftertaste. Overall, Hung Pho is one of the better pho spots around, with authentic Vietnamese food and the best in Edmonton.
