If you care about coffee you need to try this place out. This is the way coffee shops can be done. A place with great coffee and a pleasant atmosphere to chat. Wherever I am I try and find cafes that are just like it. Luckily I travel to Edmonton frequently.
A beautiful little shop in a quiet neighbourhood. Set in a historic brick walk up, you are greeted by Caleb with a smile and the smell of fresh coffee. There is seating, inside and out, and a variety of coffee flavour profiles and styles of brew. Plus, they bring in donuts from Fuzion so that's a win.
Come grab a cup and chat. It's worth it.
I'm not a huge coffee drinker. I'll have my one cup before I leave the house for work in the morning....but that's about to change. I'm hooked on Stopgap coffee already! Not only is the coffee amazing, but it is also incredibly warm and inviting. The lovely owners are so friendly and you can easily strike up a conversation with them like you've known them for years. I'm looking forward to developing a coffee addiction, just as long as I am able to work near Stopgap!
