Subway in Edmonton

“I just came from a long trip and needed some food so i stopped at this location and ATUL was leading the shop. He was very friendly with me and listened my order very carefully and served my food with a preety smile. We talked a lot as I was very tired and needed some refreshment. I mean what more can you ask from a store with such a good guy. 5 stars for him. Cheers“

“Been coming to this Subway for a couple years now and the staff has always been awesome to deal with. On the odd occasion I would get a sub that wasn't made quite right but I don't see the people who made it there anymore. I would say 9/10 visits my food is perfect. The staff is always friendly and I've managed to have some great conversations with them while grabbing some food. The place is always clean and I never wait long for my food. The only complaint I do have is that the store is sometimes staffed with only one person which seems a bit unsafe for any business. I can get a business wanting to save money but it shouldn't be at the expense of worker safety.

Overall this place is close to home and easy to go to for a quick lazy day meal. Happy to continue my visits to this location.“

“I always take my order to go an in years of ordering I have never had to come back or argue with staff. They even call me when something is up with the order (ie out of one type of cookie will I take another). Always friendly and happy when I come in. Store is always clean.“

I wouldn't have bothered reviewing, but today I saw an employee happily allow a teen from the education rally at the leg use the washroom without his purchasing anything. It was very kind. Apparently ALL the government public washrooms were locked! The takeaway: Subway treats Albertans better than our government. Also, I can't really get enough of the white chocolate macadamia cookies. 10 / 10!“

“Went to this location to grab a quick dinner. Kyle was the one helping me. He was really sweet and really good at this job. The smile never left his face while serving other customers. My sub was really good. Definitely coming back to this location because of how nice the employees are.“

“I went here on Monday afternoon. The people working there were great. Fast and friendly service. No hassles when I used a coupon. And they didn't cheapen out on the ingredients for the subs. Which is a nice change for once. I normally do not go to Subway, due to some crappy Subways out there. But my father wanted a sub from Subway. I personally like Mr. Sub, but there are very few left in the city. Which is too bad. 😕“

With my lunch I thought I would get a breakfast ham and egg on a potato bun I mention this becauae I am a fan of the folded egg and all fast food places have round eggs... this is SOOO much more better than any of the others. “One of the best Subways I’ve ever been to! The sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the toppings were made exactly to my taste. If you ask for more, they add more, and if you ask for less, they do it just the way you want. I was really impressed with their service and have never had such a tasty sub before. “Most of the time I go, I have a good experience. I try to go when the best worker is there, as she remembers my order and ensures the best customer service in any fast food restaurant i’ve been to. Sheila has always been such a kind soul, making my simple order with love and care, while also providing small talk.

However, when she is not the one making my food, I get a bad vibe in the store. It feels demotivating, forced, and a little miserable. The few times I am served by a different person, the food is mid, and I feel judged or like I’m asking for a lot when I communicate my order. Mind you, my order is a foot long meatball marinara with white italian bread, a little extra marinara sauce, and cheddar cheese. I get no toppings or sauces, but when I ask for cheddar cheese instead of white, it’s like I’m asking for them to move the stantec building with a fork.

I continue going to this location for my subway cravings, because I count on Sheila being my server. When she’s not there, I know the food and service will be poor.“

today, June 16th, I had the new steak and bbq sauce sub.
pulled out 3 pieces of unchewable fat.
that's ok, steak has fat.
Went to the bathroom to wash all the drippings from my hands and had to go get a key, understandable.
Washed up...had to smack the air dryer to get it to work then after I took a pee...no toilet paper on either roll on the near floor mounted toilet paper holder to flush and open the door.
WHAT IF I HAD A POOP?
WHAT REASTERAUNT LETS BOTH TOILET PAPER ROLL HOLDERS GO DRY ?
That would have been a tragic and funny as hell moment in my life.

My shorts?
The girl at the front desk did seem very shocked and I didn't press it.

“I been here about 4 times. I never had a problem here. I usually order the same thing. I know what I want before I even come in. Its either the cold cut trio or spicy Italian. Same toppings as always. I come in and wait until its my time. Then I say hello and tell them what I want. Sometimes they put less or more of the toppings I want. Its all good.
