“Incredible experience at Sushi Land!
This was my second visit, and once again, everything was absolutely amazing. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality you get.

The staff were so polite and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience. One of the best touches is that with every sushi order, they serve a complimentary miso soup — and it’s genuinely delicious! They also bring you a pot of green tea with your meal, which just makes everything feel even more thoughtful and complete.

I highly recommend trying the Alaska roll — it was a standout! Honestly, this is some of the best sushi I’ve had in recent times, and I’ll definitely be coming back again. Sushi Land has earned a solid spot on my favorites list!”

“As an Aussie traveller, finding proper coffee in Canada can sometimes feel like a personal pilgrimage (too often it’s brown water and UHT cream 😅). With our original destination closed, we took a chance on Otto’s — and what a find. Opened in May 2025, it’s part café, part provisions store, walls stacked with an eclectic mix of quality goods. I ordered a strong flat white and avo toast, and what arrived could’ve come straight out of a laneway café in Melbourne. The coffee was smooth and strong, the toast fresh, herby, crunchy, and beautifully put together. Great job team Otto — you’ve set the bar high for Jasper”

I ordered the Malevolent Meatloaf, and let me tell you—if this is malevolent, then I’ll gladly choose the dark side every time. My dinner partner had the Chef’s Cut, which he guarded like a dragon with treasure, only to share with those worthy- believe me; the steak melted in my mouth and left a peppercorn mic-drop on my palate…

“Absolutely love this store! Called earlier to ask about Chai Tea Mix. Was told of all the available options and reviews from customers about them. Decided to give them a shot event though they weren't the exact brand I was looking for. When I went in I was immediately greeted by the store manager (gentleman with the longer hair forgive me I forget his name! He was amazing) So friendly and had the brightest smile. Told him I was there for the chai but wanted to walk around for a bit. He let me do so freely. Saw that they have a TON of options! Chia seeds, hemp hearts, a lot of tea, chocolate milk from BC farmers! Went a little crazy on my shopping trip as a lot of the stuff you can not find in grocery stores usually! Will be back 100% and thank you for carrying Acana dog food! Now I no longer have to drive to Hinton to get it. #1 store in Jasper.”

“We were staying at the Lobstick Lodge next door and ate at the Silverwater Grill both nights. First night was really busy and we had to wait 10 minutes or so to be seated. We had a simple salad for an evening meal and it was really tasty and good value. The second night was much quieter and we had a really nice meal of salmon with salad and tortellini.”

“We visited this restaurant two nights in a row because the food was very tasty. We especially enjoyed the fried dumplings definitely a highlight and full of great flavor. Overall, the dishes had a nice taste and kept us coming back. However, we did notice that the meat wasn’t very tender on both visits.”

“The circus and green salad was a study in contrasts crunchy,soft, sweet, tangy, savoury, and umami. Eat bite a little different than the last. The lamb taggleatelle was delicious. Full of flavour, and very hearty. Not sure what will follow as JPL renovates, but I'm hoping Orso will remain as it has been one of the best restaurants here for a long time.”

“We are an older couple that appreciates the consistent product we can enjoy at any Earl's, so already fans. What encouraged us to write this review was the exceptional service we received. We explained to the young woman greeting and seating that we would like a quieter table and she made sure we were in a very quiet corner. It made our whole evening more pleasant. I'm sorry that I did not ask her name but she was greeting on Wed., Nov. 26th around supper time, and she has a sensational smile : )
Our table server was Julie and she too was exceptional. Her manner was efficient, but also friendly and interested. She took great care to see that we got exactly what we wanted. She is an outstanding employee.”

“Located in the entrance of the Lobsticks Hotel. Starbucks feeling. Ideal for a quick coffee and snacks to go or eat on site. Prices are completely ok for local conditions. In the morning we came over from the neighboring hotel Chateau Jasper for a quick breakfast before skiing. Not set up like a coffee shop in that sense. You sit at a counter in front of the window on high chairs or in the seating area of ​​the hotel foyer.”

“I enjoyed my dinner at the hearthstone Lounge. The food was well prepared and the presentation very appealing. I was attended to immediately after being seated. The non-alcoholic drink was tasty, but small. I had the salad with chicken. The salad had lots of tasty vegetables and the chicken was moist, not dry. The mini cheesecake was just enough to satisfy my sweettooth, but not so much as to bust a gut.”

“Last minute choice and rewarded with terrific food and service. Must try the cowboy sushi as it was outstanding and different, meatloaf and curry were also winners as was the WTF and cheesecake desserts. Bravo Dave for the creativity, ambiance and service.”

“I was craving sushi on my roadtrip through Jasper. I found One Sushi, which had 4 stars and I thought ok, lets try it. They didnt have my personal preference of spicy crab roll, so i decided to venture out of my comfort zone and try their Amazing Roll with mango pieces. Oh my god, it did NOT disappoint. I was so pleasantly surprised at how fresh the fish was and how well the flavours went together. This spot is a must-try for all sushi lovers. I am so impressed and so happy i took a chance!”
