“Stopped through on a long trip. Food was to die for. I got the sizzling beef shank and it was absolutely amazing. Staff was courteous and answered all of our questions, great service. The interior is clean, and decorated with telegraph paraphernalia, taps, and other period antiques. There is also outdoor seating available for nice weather.“

He was friendly, entertaining and so patient with the kids, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and Jay's service really made the night special. “The two young men who met our party of 3 were especially attentive and seated us almost immediately, at our reserved table. In the past, when I've entered and approached the reception area, there's been a collection of up to 5 young ladies, clustered around a computer screen, as if it's Mission Control, and totally ignoring the guests. If this is a recent change, it's a great improvement! The food was excellent, as usual. I love our server, Marie, whom I've had before. She's just lovely and very good at her job.“
