“What an incredible dining experience in Didsbury! You can truly tell the food here is made with love — fresh, full of flavour, beautifully prepared, and authentic. Located only about 10 minutes off Highway 2 between Calgary and Red Deer, this restaurant is absolutely worth the short detour for lunch or dinner. We started with the chicken skewers and tzatziki, and I have to say, the tzatziki was quite possibly the best I have had in Canada. The flavours were outstanding. For our main, we had the schnitzel. Being European, I can be a little particular when it comes to schnitzel, and this was wonderfully authentic. The Spätzle was honestly some of the best, and the meal was accompanied by a fantastic mixed salad with a delicious tarragon dressing. Everything worked beautifully together. We finished our dinner with a banana split made with gelato — the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. There is also a great selection of wines and European beers, which was a wonderful touch. Definitely one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in Central Alberta. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend making the stop when travelling between Calgary and Red Deer. A true Didsbury gem! Picture is a partial picture as I already started eating. Sorry“
