“It was our first time trying Umi Sushi Express, and we were really impressed! The restaurant has a sleek and modern look, with bright green decor that feels refreshing and inviting. The staff were super friendly and patient while we decided what to order. The sushi was fresh and delicious—perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. Definitely a great spot for a quick, satisfying sushi fix. We’re already looking forward to coming back!“

“We live in the area but we had never tried this restaurant before. We found everything we had very good overall.

We had sushi, sashimi, and tried several rolls. The rolls were hit and miss, but overall most of them were pretty good. Sushi was great too, but the sashimi stole the show. Very nice quality and big chunky pieces.

The place looks nice overall and it was very clean. The staff were excellent. Very friendly, polite and attentive.

We’ll be coming back to try some of their other dishes and have their excellent sashimi again.“

“We went for Valentine's they were absolutely slammed. The food was excellent however the service wasn't able to come by often enough I would have liked to order another drink and it took a long time to pay but really think that it is because of the date we went definitely will come back and I'm sure the service will be excellent also. Only thing they didn't have a cocktail menu and was slightly disappointed on that front. The beef tataki was the best I've had in the city“

“Just wanted to do a BIG shout out to ZENBU sushi restaurant! My boyfriend and I went there the other weekend while we were in town and they were SO GOOD. Lots of the menu can be made gluten free. You HAVE to state what you want made gluten free so that they know to make the right modifications. They even have gf soy sauce. I would definitely call this place celiac safe as they were very careful. Some of the BEST Sushi I've ever had! We will definitely be going back and I recommend you try it out. My favorite restaurant in Airdie by far!“

My girl and I travel around checking out the newest menus or places we’ve never been to and Takumi is supreme in Calgary! We have tried dozens of places in Calgary but no one compares to the freshness, nor service and quality which is why Takumi is our favourite!! Also, after visiting NYC, San Fran, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal Takumi ranks in our top places. We order from skip the dishes monthly but prefer to come in for cold sake, great service and exquisitely prepared sushi/sashimi. “The food is delicious! Even the little kids ate really well, which was great. We ordered jjolmyeon as a side and had it with the pork cutlet, and the combination was amazing. My child loved the pork cutlet, so we’ll definitely be coming back again. 😊“

“Got a chicken teriyaki with brown rice. Veggies are scarce.. I don’t think I saw a single lettuce in my food.. 4 broccolis.. :( the food was good but veggies were lacking.

“Tried this location after being let down at the Crowfoot location in the past. Prefer this location hands-down as the sumo size is actually filled to the top unlike the other location at Crowfoot that only filled about ½ the container. Will definitely be back.“

“Accidentally made it pickup instead of delivery! Made it clear ive had a stroke and not safe driving! Every penny counts so i had to go get it safe driv8ng or not! They dont care! A simple thing like chstging me a little for delivery! Ni cares for disability“
