Bento - didn't realize the California roll was deep-fried, so gross. Texture and flavour was awful, tasted unfresh and fishy. Edemame and tempera was cold. It's crazy to me that a business would find this quality ok, mall food or not. Honestly, if your goal is to repel repeat business, then good job.
The best convenient Tempura. I ordered in a while. Considering the location, generous amount, good sauce. Had the assorted tempura. Was happy with my order. Tasted great! The overall quality was great. Only wish they had Tempsuyu made from; dashi, soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. If they did, I would have loved this more but it was still awesome with the creamy sauce in the mustard bottle (soft siracha mayo, perfect for Yam tempura!!!). Very low key spicey. This place has potential, as the flavours of the rolls are good. But I would likely not give them another chance for a while. Their sushi rolls just fall apart when you try to pick them up and dip them in your soya sauce, making a giant mess. They also use faaaarr too much avocado in their rolls (never thought I’d ever say that), it was basically just a mouth full of avocado. Overall I would not recommend.
