“Every barista greeted us when we came in. Our order was taken quickly, there was a free sample available which was delicious, and a barista offered my son a free Frappuccino as it was made by accident.
** This was the end of my main experience which I was in the middle of giving 5 stars UNTIL my son spilled the hot chocolate we ordered all over the table, the floor, and himself! It took a minute for a cloth to be handed over (they became very busy), and a woman who was on her laptop came and helped us clean up. She must have been the owner or manager. I wish I got her name as she was wonderful. She got my son a new hot chocolate, which had extra chocolate sauce on it, and a barista came over with a free cake pop for him!
Honestly, they were already getting 5 stars and after this if I could give another 5 I would!

“Tara is an absolute sweetheart. Excellent customer service. All the full time girls I forget all the names I don’t wanna get it wrong but usual am team and some part timers are so great. Someone them deserves raises. I use to work in that mall after moving to Alberta for just over a year I didn’t have the most pleasant experiences always in Sherwood park but those girls are the sweetest and so hard working. Will miss my baristas now that changed locations.“
“I understand fast food isn’t the more glamorous job and don’t expect cheerful employees when I drive thru places, but the baristas at this Starbucks are so nice and kind every time I go (taking the time to ask how my day is, even in the drive thru) and this is the only time I believe someone deserves a tip in this kind of industry (where no service is required) for going above what the job requires. It’s unexpected despite being such a small thing and can really make someone’s day.“
“I stopped at the emerald hills location today and cannot pay enough compliments to the lovely ladies who were working around 10am.
They were so busy with lines in the drive in and in store, I placed a mobile order from the parking lot to save myself the wait inside.
When I entered the store it was packed and I'm the brief time I waited I witnessed several interactions between the forms working and a bit of a challenging customer. Throught every interaction they all remained professional, polite and kept smiling through it all. As someone who has worked in the sucks industry for over 30 years I was so impressed by their composure, professionalism and positive attitudes!
Well done ladies! Will definitely make this my new go to store!“
“Staff are always friendly. Wait time can vary a lot though depending on when you go and what the drink/food order of the people in front of you is. I've definitely had times where I have waited 15 min+ in the drive-thru here, but I know the staff are hustling to get the drinks out. Sometimes it is quicker just to park and go in.“
“I accidentally sent my order to the wrong location. The staff here prepared the order for me without hesitation and were so kind and understanding. The restaurant is clean and everything was quick and efficient. Really appreciate the above and beyond customer service.“
