“I love the overall vintage vibe of the cafe and I think it is a good meeting place for folks here in St. Albert. The sandwiches were good but I can’t say the same for the coffee. My husband ordered hot chocolate and he said it tasted like it was a powdered chocolate you can buy from the grocery. B it the place was in a good spot and everyone who loves vintage will have to stop by this place. There are parking spaces by the cafe. It is also spacious so good for groups.“

“We dined there this summer for the first time in several years, and enjoyed it sooo much that we have been there for dinner three times since the beginning of August. We also brought our staff one evening and they were able to provide great service and wonderful food even with large group of 14. The patio is great on a nice day and patio lights are a nice touch at night..... the interior has also been updated with a modern rustic feel. So far, we have tried the variety slider trio, green goddess salad, ginger glazed salmon, spicy crispy cauliflower, and roasted half chicken... all so good! Going to spread this review because we think people need to experience the new chef at Glasshouse Kitchen for themselves. :-)“

“We came here since we heard good things about it. Nice, clean, and welcoming spot with a bright, modern feel. The staff were cheerful, attentive, and quick to help, which made the visit pleasant right from the start.

KB & Co has a surprisingly large and varied menu, especially for a plant-based cafe, with plenty of bowls, wraps, smoothies, and healthy treats to choose from.
We tried the Smokey Caesar and the falafel dish. Both looked fresh and colorful, and the Smokey Caesar was especially flavorful — crisp greens, well-balanced dressing, and generous toppings.

The falafel, however, missed the mark for me. The falafel felt soft and mushy, and it actually fell apart easily, lacking the firm texture I typically expect. Additionally, it was rather mild in flavor and didn’t showcase the vibrant herbaceous notes that make falafel so distinctive. It wasn’t inedible, but it stood out as the one weak point in an otherwise solid meal.

Overall, though, KB & Co delivers fresh, health-minded food in a comfortable space with great service. I’d definitely come back to try more of the menu — just probably not the falafel next time.“

“Visited for the first time as part of the CoffeePass program. The cafe is very pretty and is a nice place to sit and relax. I had a flat white that was super tasty and exactly the way I like it. The star of the show, however, was their cruffins. Absolutely delicious and jam packed with a cream filling. I had a salted caramel one while my partner had pistachio. I will def be back to try the other flavours...well worth the trip!“

“Came across this when visiting Canada Place. It's towards the back of the food court, so a little hidden. Was greeted by the owner as I walked by. He politely introduced all the pizzas that were on display. If a full individual size ($8.95) is too much for you, they do offer a half portion ($5.00), which I chose. When I am not sure what I want, staff are eager to make suggestions, and I have never been disappointed. Lattes are $5, hard to find lattes for that price in this neighbourhood. Somewhat higher prices, but good-sized servings to match.Only two tables, and chairs at the bar but the manager introduces people to each other and they can sit together. Part of the coffee shop and Italian store is a fantastic bakery. My wife and I along with our son and parents really loved the he coffee shop. There is difficulty finding a parking spot but when you do you won’t be disappointed. We will return again“

“Just had the best experience at the KB&Co Newcastle last night. My friend and I went there at 4:30 to hang out, and didn't end up leaving til 7:30, and they closed at 7. The food was great (we had dill soup and chili tacos, and I think I had a peach smoothie), and obviously it was cozy enough that we spent 3 hours there. And the lone server who was there was nice enough to let us stay past closing. Not only that, but when we finally left (we were the only ones there), she came out to say goodbye and gifted us with some samples of these peanut butter nanaimo bars she'd just made. I didn't get her name but I hope the owners see this review and know that she was awesome.“

I tried for the first time at this venue. The customizable option available there helped to make the order with my preferences.

I visited on a busy day and was a bit worried about the order time. I got my order in a quick time without facing endless waiting. Appreciate the service provided by the staff person who said her name was Cat. She handled my order and it was absolutely spot-on.
