“Very disappointed to book a reservation for 4 in advance and sat at corner table where there were only 3 seating options. The host had to get another chair, which made us close to the next table and that table became uncomfortable with the additional chair in their space. Our table was not even set for 4. My husband requested a new table as we walked past several empty tables for 4 on our way to be seated. We were told the restaurant was fully booked and they could not provide a new table. Shortly after our remaining party of 2 arrived, we sat uncomfortably and our server came and asked if we would like to be moved now that our remaining party had arrived?! We said of course we would like to be moved and were then escorted to the area with open tables we had seen. Our server was great, and food was delicious. However, all 4 of us did not appreciate the attempt to shove a party of 4 at a table for 2 that would also not fit 2 adult men comfortably.“

“I do like the vibe at this franchise, but my last visit at the St. Albert location left me with a bit of a sour taste in my mouth (not literally). My Dad and I ordered a poutine along with our caesar salad. The Manager came out and told us they were out of cheese curds, which was fine. When I got our bill, we were charges $14 each for a small bowl of poutine that had the incorrect cheese on it. The price on the poutine floored me actually for the size of it. Even with proper cheese curds, that price is steep for the portion. 🤷‍♂️“

The staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the rotating tap list featuring dozens of local craft beers and international favourites. I started with the kung pao lettuce wraps and soft pretzel with beer cheese dip… both were delicious and perfect for sharing. For mains the ahi tuna poke bowl and crispy chicken sandwich were fresh and flavourful. Their seasonal cocktails and beer flights are also worth trying. The rooftop patio offers a wonderful view of downtown and the atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends or colleagues. With attentive service, a diverse menu and a fantastic selection of drinks, CRAFT Beer Market never disappoints.“

“This has been one of my favourite restaurants for a long time. Dinning in is always wonderful, but anytime I order delivery this is always my top choice. I already have them a great review on Google, but once again the management team never disappoints! From time to time people make mistakes, that’s life. But when the restaurant goes above and beyond to make it right is a fading thing it seems, but not with JOEY mayfield common!! Twice now the management team has corrected the mistakes and offered great compensation for so. Like one of my favourite things when I order is that they throw in a free brownie. They missed it this one time and I called and she corrected on my next order. Thank you sooo much, the brownies are to die for 😍… you definitely hooked me up on this order too. Made me giggle 🤭. Bookshelves with lights, intimate environment, etc. The food itself was delicious, especially the strip loin which came out incredibly juicy and the gnocci which was amazingly soft. At the end of the night, we were discussing dessert but ultimately decided against it because we were full and a little lethargic from eating so much haha. However, after we paid the bill, our waiter brought us a free posset which was perfectly light and citrusy and it made us feel so much better! Such an amazing experience.“

“Little Wolf is a cozy and intimate restaurant, with a very plant-focused, vegan-friendly menu (nearly half the menu is vegan!). Vegetables are the star of the show, paired with flavorful sauces. The highlight of our meal was the fried focaccia with zaatar and hummus. The dishes are small and designed for sharing. The prices are quite reasonable. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, with dim lighting, candles, wood paneling, and exceptionally friendly service. I highly recommend the 3-course vegan dinner at Little Wolf. It’s held on the last Monday of every month, and proceeds go to the Edmonton Food Bank. The food was wholesome and delicious, with seasonal fruits and veg being the star of the show. P.S. “This was our first visit to Ricky's All Day Grill and we had a superb time! The portions were incredibly generous, and the food was really good. I would definitely recommend the Grand Forks Plate and BC Benny.

What truly made of experience unforgettable, though, was the immaculate service from Mario. Mario provided excellent service and was highly attentive to any needs that we had. He was also a great conversationalist who gave us thoughtful recommendations for things to do in Edmonton! It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with such genuine friendliness, but Mario absolutely killed it in both departments.

We left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit for whenever we are in Edmonton. Ricky’s is lucky to have Mario on their team!“

“Located off of Whytes Road, this place is serving up some delicious local meats, from brisket, ribs, pulled pork, etc they've got it all.
Their brisket was tender and flavorful.
The pork ribs were smokey, and crispy on the outside but tender on the inside.
We order a side of Mac and cheese and two large pickles. Both a great side dish that complement the meats.
Service was superb, friendly and efficient!

I think if you are dining here with lots of people during the season you might need to be a little more patient. Serving lots of people at the same time is tough, so if you expect something rapid during or after a game maybe lower those expectations.
