The schnitzel is my fave and I can’t seem to order anything else as soon as I start thinking about it, luckily my wife loves me enough to share a bit of what she orders.“

“I do like the vibe at this franchise, but my last visit at the St. Albert location left me with a bit of a sour taste in my mouth (not literally). My Dad and I ordered a poutine along with our caesar salad. The Manager came out and told us they were out of cheese curds, which was fine. When I got our bill, we were charges $14 each for a small bowl of poutine that had the incorrect cheese on it. The price on the poutine floored me actually for the size of it. Even with proper cheese curds, that price is steep for the portion. 🤷‍♂️“

“CRAFT Beer Market Edmonton is my go to for great beer and food in a lively yet relaxed setting. The interior is spacious with high ceilings, industrial accents and big screens showing the game. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the rotating tap list featuring dozens of local craft beers and international favourites. I started with the kung pao lettuce wraps and soft pretzel with beer cheese dip… both were delicious and perfect for sharing. For mains the ahi tuna poke bowl and crispy chicken sandwich were fresh and flavourful. Their seasonal cocktails and beer flights are also worth trying. The rooftop patio offers a wonderful view of downtown and the atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends or colleagues. With attentive service, a diverse menu and a fantastic selection of drinks, CRAFT Beer Market never disappoints.“

“Love the industrial yet cozy atmosphere of the place! Bookshelves with lights, intimate environment, etc. The food itself was delicious, especially the strip loin which came out incredibly juicy and the gnocci which was amazingly soft. At the end of the night, we were discussing dessert but ultimately decided against it because we were full and a little lethargic from eating so much haha. However, after we paid the bill, our waiter brought us a free posset which was perfectly light and citrusy and it made us feel so much better! Such an amazing experience.“

“Was excited to try this restaurant before heading to a show at the Citadel. The food was okay overall, but our server was not. When asked about the daily market cut, we were told about the type of steak that was being served, and that it had a “red sauce - but I can't remember the name or what's in it - but it's good”. Needless to say we did not order that dish. I asked about the Chicken Supreme. The server told me that he wasn't sure, but that it was a chicken breast with some sort of cream sauce on top. Regretfully, I ordered the chicken. When the dish arrived the server put down a plate with a chicken breast (no cream sauce). He said, “I thought your question about Chicken Supreme was dumb, but I asked at the kitchen and they told me it is called Chicken Supreme because it is the best cut of chicken breast.” I was pretty shocked that: 1. He told me my question was dumb, and 2. He knew the chicken was not as he described it to me, yet he never gave me the chance to order something else instead. I'm not sure what makes one chicken breast cut supreme to another, but the meal was very bland - I would not have ordered it if I had known what it actually was. My friends were pretty shocked that a server told me my question was dumb - answering questions about the menu is a server's job after all. Won't be returning and won't be recommending.“

“A longish wait before a waiter took our orders. He was excellent; just the right amount of attentive. Orders arrived fairly quickly, and he checked back appropriately. We all got exactly what we ordered. Decent food - not fabulous, but quite acceptable. Despite it being a table of 7 and several different people paying for different orders, payment process was simple and efficient. Will definitely go back.“

“I was there for work trip last week September, would have 2 meals at Ricky's, breakfast and lunch. Due to staying at Holiday Inn, participants received a ticket for breakfast each of the four days, you would see and get recognized by lunch on 1st day and remainder of stay until Thursday. Always greeted with a good morning and smile, the breakfast options filled the bill, I usually picked either pancakes or omelette option. Lunch was same, polite, quick service and great meals. Thank you!!“

“We celebrated our son's 18th birthday with a reservation for 10 people. Also the same night as game 7 of the World Series. We arrived early and were promptly seated. We were able to take advantage of happy hour pricing. Our waitress was fantastic, everything was served in a timely manner and was delicious. This is a great option for families with students attending U of A as it is walkable distance from residence so we didn't have to worry about parking. A fantastic experience.“

“Located off of Whytes Road, this place is serving up some delicious local meats, from brisket, ribs, pulled pork, etc they've got it all.
Their brisket was tender and flavorful.
The pork ribs were smokey, and crispy on the outside but tender on the inside.
We order a side of Mac and cheese and two large pickles. Both a great side dish that complement the meats.
Service was superb, friendly and efficient!

When it comes to waitress here we have one that her smile brightens the atmosphere and she does an amazing job her name is DELANEY always makes you feel welcomed and I would recommend if you are in and about on the weekends stop by say hello try a burger or their specials they offer each day and weekends.
