“Earls has been my favorite restaurant for over a decade, but this was my first time visiting the St. Albert location, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the steak and sushi, and it was incredible. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and came with a flavorful ponzu sauce topped with sesame seeds and chives. I decided to try one of their new sushi options, the aburi salmon pressed sushi, and it was amazing. The slight sear on top gave it a nice smoky flavor that paired so well with the melt-in-your-mouth texture.

My husband went with the pulled chicken clubhouse, and he absolutely loved it. The sandwich came with dry-cured bacon, jalapeño havarti, avocado, tomato, crisp leaf lettuce, and garlic aioli on griddled sourdough. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the combination of fresh ingredients made it a standout dish.

We also shared the calamari, which was crispy and came with a great mix of jalapeño, cucumber, and a refreshing yuzu dipping sauce. For drinks, I had the sparkling raspberry lemonade—light and not overly sweet, which was perfect. My husband tried the zero proof mojito and loved it; it was refreshing and full of flavor. To finish off, we split a slice of the bourbon pecan pie, and it was the perfect way to end the meal—sweet, nutty, and just the right amount of indulgent.

The service was outstanding from start to finish, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It’s clear that the management team is doing a fantastic job creating an upscale yet comfortable atmosphere. The whole experience was exactly what I’ve come to expect from Earls. It’s always a pleasure dining with them, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.“

“10/5 would eat here all day every day if I could afford to LOL. My mind was blown at all that was on offer. Whoever your chefs are my hats off to them. The food the flavors the pairings the combinations of flavors the presentation on top of an atmosphere carefully curated into a cozy lively Japanese style tapas bar with the most stellar customer service from your servers you can't go wrong here, you just can't. My brain had fireworks going off the entire time I was there tasting everything I had ordered from the duck and beef tataki to the 5 assorted sashimi and the aburi saba. It was "chef's kiss". If you're new to Edmonton and love Japanese styled and inspired foods you HAVE TO COME HERE. Reservations highly encouraged we got lucky to get in as quick as we did without one, but this place is VERY popular.“

“I went here while on a trip from Calgary with my family from India. This place is definitely a hidden gem and we were lucky to find it. The interior is cozy, warm, dim and a nice welcoming homey interior. We stumbled upon it because it was close to our hotel. The food was uniquely crafted and extremely tasty, well cooked and flavorful. Our server Tarique was on-point with service and recommendations. He seemed to be the only server in the restuarant, but he made sure that he was always asking us if everything was to our liking. Even on such a busy night we felt really well taken care off!. One of my family members had a mushroom allergy, Tarique and the kitchen staff were very considerate and accommodating! Would definitely come here again on our next trip to Edmonton“

“Such a fun atmosphere!! A tropical escape in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Staff are all wonderful. The decor is awesome, drinks and food are a whole experience!!! Highly recommend the Mermaid Water and the Sticky Ribs but you really cannot go wrong with any of the food and drinks options!! You gotta check it out!!“

“What a great experience at Bar Bricco. The wine , the food, the service. Everything was amazing. Our server was very knowledgable and answered any questions we had. The food was incredible, I want to go back and do the whole menu or the tasting option / let the server decide. Only had a few apples and left wanting more! “Food is usually excellent, occasionally the specials and features I've tried have been underwhelming. The beef and cheddar and beef dip are outstanding, as are their fries. The drink selection is underwhelming for those who don't drink alcohol and drip coffee is their only coffee option.

Service is excellent. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

The atmosphere isn't the greatest, they don't have an accessible washroom, unless you walk all the way across their sister restaurant and the booths and chairs are uncomfortable. I have limited seating options due to limited low top tables.“

“my friend and i showed up at partake after we tried to get into violino but it was fully booked and i`m SO glad we did. the servers were incredibly kind, fun and gave good suggestions .
while ordering. the food was seriously generously portioned, with the charcuterie board hosting what seemed like 60g of each meat selection. the chef is insanely talented in all areas, but the desserts had us literally slapping our knees; more specifically, the pumpkin cheesecake. also try the whipped brie!!!“

“Tried Fu’s tonight for the first time and it did not disappoint! Myself and my husband (unfortunately) have seafood allergies, so of course it can be tricky for us to eat at some of these incredible restaurants. Fu’s had terrific options that are seafood allergy friendly! We had the Cha-Siu noodles, pork dumplings, and duck confit tacos. Cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I had a 35 minute walk home and talked about our experience the whole way. Start to finish 10/10. Everyone working there was friendly, the food; hot and delicious, the drinks; unique and tasty, and the atmosphere; lovely. Looking forward to getting back there to try more!“

“Kyler is the absolute best. I came here with a dream, of very specific croutons- and he made those dreams come true. Not only did he show me the croutons before I ordered (to ensure they were the right ones) he gave me extra 😭 shout out to the kitchen too. I am now a crafthouse fan, no longer a socialhouse fan. Please never change the croutons.

“Myself and a couple friends stopped in before a concert at Rogers. The atmosphere was very inviting they usually only are open on Sundays for event nights, couldn’t believe it wasn’t more busy. We ordered tapas drinks and mains, the food was phenomenal, so good and came out very quick! We had Maria serving us she was so lovely very present without being at the table too much. Everyone who worked there we interacted with was so welcoming. Definitely will be back to try some more delicious foods, be sure to check out their drinks/shots!“

“The place is really cute and the servers are great and attentive , but the food doesn’t match up. The beef carpaccio was very very acidic and over-saturated with the mustard taste. It wasn’t good at all. Our steaks were also pretty ordinary. I ordered a medium- rare, but they brought me a rare as you can see in the picture. For a restaurant that primarily serves steak, this is disappointing. We generally found that the dishes are not well-balanced. They also do not allow for substitutions of sides which doesn’t help their case. Someone may prefer fries instead of chips or salad. Overall, for this price point it is not worth going here.“
