“Yummy! My sandwich was so delicious, again. The bread was crispy as were the vegetables. The meat was fresh and there was just the right amount of pate. I have had at least five banh mi cold cut sandwiches in the past month or so. The staff are very friendly and quick to take your order and get you a glass of water if you are ordering to go. My favorite go to place for a nice light bite. Thanks Da Kao!!“

“Epic new dining expierence, I saw 1 star and felt it was completely unfair, not accurate.. wife and I ate here, and had a great expierence. waiting for family from out of town to return. fresh food, unique expierence. you won't get elsewhere. and at a cost that doesn't wipe you out. 4.5/5 stars from me.“

“Tokiwa is our favourite restaurant in the city. The food quality is great, the service is very fast and friendly, and it's a great deal. We travelled to Japan a few years ago and found the quality of ramen from tokiwa was definitely comparable to what we tried there.“

“Amazing noodle！The broth was rich and full of flavor without being too heavy, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the meat was tender and delicious. The portions were generous, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Everything tasted fresh, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Definitely one of the best noodle spots in the area. I’ll be coming back for sure!“

“I ordered take out and arrived a few minutes before it said it would be ready. Everyone was attentive, kind and kept assuring me that my food would be out soon. No big deal, but I was starting to get tired from waiting. 25 minutes later my food was brought out by a manager apologizing non stop adding that he threw in an addition dessert! Was not needed but so appreciate and delicious. In the end the wait was long but the kindness of staff made the wait worth it.
Most Importantly my meal was so delicious I had the ravioli carbonara and it was amazing. Breadsticks and salad never disappoint. And the desserts, you bet I tried both! So good!“

“Found this hidden gem. Store front looks shady and walked in with dated decor. These kind of mom n pop store you know it’s the real deal. Super reasonable price and the food is legit!!! Pho broth was insanely flavourful. Balance of spice and bone. Load of meat and perfectly cooked noodle. The Thai Tea is very good too.“

“We have been ordering sandwiches and treats for all our staff during the busy holidays at our shop. For over a decade They keep us fed and happy. We had to get individual wrapped sandwiches during the pandemic. And they were fabulous as always. The food is delicious. The service is amazing. Thank you for feeding us during our busiest times.“

“I order from Skip from the St Albert location because I’d heard good things and wanted something not pizza or burgers and I was not disappointed! Had the Tuna and the creamy tomato soup and the goddess salad, everything was fresh and delicious and very good price compared to many others. Delivery was also very fast. Definetly will try again and more items but I really enjoyed what I ordered so that may be my new go to on rainy days. Cheers you guys!“
